Questions & Answers

Is there a reason why this costs $50 more than the msrp and others?

Prime does not have a problem with it. As a result of the shortage of flight simulator hardware, as well as video cards, many Amazon sellers are overcharging for these items. By the end of March 2021, this item will be selling for $569. There are pilot supply sites and B&ampH locations where you can buy it A rudder for this price is a great deal. Cheaper rudders are difficult to find right now.

There are some items made of plastic, including the Pedials and some other items in the photo. can you make from injected plastic and what can't you?

Good to hear from you! Some of us—including me—feel like we're somehow related to each other I have had the pleasure of buying some TPR pedals recently and I can confirm that most of the pedal's components are made from For the sake of assurance, I had to tap the pipe. I can only think of one or two parts that can possibly be plastic the covers of the springs We have some sensors mounted on the brake and ball-ends that measure brake input There are also joint connections, but they seem to be containing metal as well. You're looking at some serious pedals here. Lastly, I will add this. Be warned that even with the aluminum parts, the TPR pedals do weigh quite a bit, so be aware if you have back problems or have difficulty lifting moderately heavy objects. Your question has been answered, I hope.

Is there a toe brake on the pedals?

You are right. There are toe brakes in some of the Youtube videos I saw.

So we have a total of 10 axes and DirectX allows for only 8 on Windows. You are already at 7 if you use all the axis on the Warthog (Stick and Throttle). TARGET will only exclude the TPR from the combined virtual controller, even though I've tried to exclude it in TARGET. The game is still unable to map it since it is captured by TARGET. In the current version, it is not possible to run a TARGET on the combined controller and have all the axes available. It is not possible to remove the TPR from the control of the software, so the pedals are not mapped by Windows. The customer support has been less than helpful, and I have contacted them several times. I am sorry to share that I am glad to say that they are very well-made. There are a lot of adjustments you can As a result, the centering springs were removed and the dead space in the center widened. They fall effortlessly on center with their pendulum action.

The only reason I have only given three stars is that the ThrustMaster products seem to be incompatible. I will continue.

The new TM RCS is a great replacement for the old one
5/5

was time to upgrade to a set with toe brakes (tough to control an F/A-Type. . . I had been using 18C on the Carrier without them), and then I discovered TM offered a new set, which I decided to go for. I was surprised that they were not heavier than they looked, even though they are big - and I think that's just the way they are. But the bags are heavy enough to carry them. If you need them to stay put, you might want to mount them on a platform or sim cockpit. As long as you set the toe brake angle correctly, you won't have to adjust it again. Once you have them adjusted, they're really easy to adjust. DCS pulls in all of the devices, so I can use all of the axes in game, so I don't use Target. The DirectX limitation (DirectX restriction) You can easily adjust them to fit your play style, as they are quite sensitive. Although the pedals wouldn't slam down if you quickly move your feet off of them (so don't do that), I wish there were some kind of damper on them. There is a price for this As long as my last RCS (Upgraded with HAL) has remained strong since 1993, and as long as my HOTAS Cougar (also upgraded with HAL) has remained strong since 2003, I've had no problems If you can afford it and need the precision a quality RCS provides, these are the ones to get.

This game-changing technology could change everything
5/5

The MFGs and the consumer products companies have been compared for hours My choice was to go with the TPRs, Slavs. My only regret is that I didn't purchase a set when it was released. A few weeks prior to writing this review, I upgraded from a set of Saitek Pro pedals. (RW private pilot) I didn't feel at ease with the sliding motion of those pedals, which is why I stayed away from The TPRs immediately enhanced my comfort level and immersed me more in the learning experience. Within half an hour from the moment I opened the doors, I was in the DCS spitfire, which is dependent almost entirely on precise rudder input to fly. I could never hit the ball with the Saiteks with enough accuracy, and I had to chase the ball around all the time. Using TPRs, you can repeat the action smoothly and reliably. Taking off and landing DCS warbirds are no problem for me and I roll into turns fairly easily in the DCS F14. Although a few of the negative reviews were very minor, I felt that most of the negative reviews were very nit-picky during release A picky eater. While the brakes are a bit rough, they do not feel metallic. The video would not have caught my attention had it not been for the YouTube video. Setting up the initial set Although setting up can be a bit of a hassle, be patient and do It is unlikely that most people will ever experience anything like this Regardless of their weight, they will slide on carpet, but this is the same for every When getting things set up, there are a few things to watch out for The position of the brake sensor ball joints can be seen in the image above. During action, it is easy to leave these in a position that will cause them to be side loaded and possibly It appears there was a break in one of the reviews. As soon as the brakes were adjusted, I loosened the jam nut and installed the drums The balls should be centered in the You might think that it's complex, but it really isn't when you are making Then you should consider this if you're looking for an action that is more natural, accurate, and you don't want to invest a small fortune in an offshore bank account and wait 6+ months (in Slavic times). If you want pedals, then these are what you are looking for!.

This is a wonderful product, both in design and in The X-axis can be controlled in a precise manner Adapt to plane
5/5

Having rudder pedals on my feet for the past 5 years has been my dream. 'Compared to an inexpensive') I wanted to order before all stock was gone for MS flight sim, which is coming out imminently. Taking this risk was a great decision. It is a delight to review this book. I haven't found anything to criticize. The cost is very high. However, you are benefiting from the steering control when on the ground, and the plane control when flying low and slow to keep level wings, which is really impressive. Although, you'll have to determine whether you could accomplish this level of control for such an amount. You can only buy once, and you can only cry Long ago, I learned that lesson, and I have never regretted spending more money The decision hasn't caused me any regret as of.
