Will my 1 1/2-inch-thick rope fit through the holes in the bottom? I don't see any specks on the bottom loop's diameter or circumference?

The inside diameter is just over a quarter of an inch.

How far apart (on center) are the mounting holes?

Is it safe to use these ceiling mounts on a slanted ceiling, or do you need to use a different type of ceiling mount?

They should be safe to use as long as they are installed in studs.

When used as a swing, is this connection noisy? We have upstairs neighbors, so metal on metal can make a racket. ?

It's not completely silent, but it's by far the quietest hanger we've ever had. It also makes for a more comfortable swing.

HANGERS THAT ARE SOLID AND STRONG

I've already bought three of these and am very pleased with them. I'm not sure why I didn't rate it higher. All of the components are good, except for the concrete anchors, which require a 12mm masonry drill bit, which not everyone, including myself, has in their toolbox. I had to get 1/2inch anchors from Home Depot to replace the ones that came in the kit because the closest one I had was a 1/2 inch bit, which is slightly larger than the 12mm. To accommodate the slightly larger anchor, I had to slightly enlarge the mounting holes on the hanger. This was less expensive and time-consuming in my opinion than trying to locate a 12mm masonry drill bit. On wood, you won't have to do anything.

One was for a boxing bag, which was not a major concern, but I was concerned about the chair I wanted to hang from the ceiling. I didn't want to fall because I was sitting in it. But it was a huge success! My stepson, who is around 200 pounds, was even supported. I've sat in this chair for hours on end with no discomfort.

There are two hangers and instructions inside. The directions are simple to follow. On a 4x4, I used it. Pre-drilled holes were used, and the instructions were followed. When tightening, there was no sign of a split. My daughter was in the swing chair in a matter of minutes! It's been a few days now. So far, it appears to be in good condition. Because it does not come with any tools, you will need to bring your own.

Swivel anchor of excellent quality

One of these anchors was used to hang a hammock swing from the ceiling in a bedroom, and it held up to 200 pounds without issue. It was also simple to put together, and it swivels quietly.
