I just placed my second order for this product and have two issues would like to communicate. The first gripe I have is According to the instructions that came with the grit, I made four batches of rocks that each took a month or more to complete. As I tried again and again, I ended up with rocks that were not even close to shiny, so I adjusted my methods and tried again only to be disappointed once To finish, I cross compared the directions that came with the tumbler with the instructions that came with As part of the last two steps, I had to put in three times the amount of grit that is recommended by the tumbler instructions. I've just finished my last batch and I'm very pleased with it! as I was almost out, I ordered again, and was miffed at myself for not realizing it The results that I get now will hopefully continue to be better now that I know what I'm doing. The second gripe I have is that One of the bags inside my package leaked, so I had to wipe everything inside to get rid of the stain. Just before I went to bed, I spent about 20 minutes cleaning. It was definitely a mess, but it wasn't worth the trouble of returning! It's mostly rookie mistakes and a bad seal, so I'm hoping good things come my way in the future. My results have been good so far, so I will keep buying, but I may try a different brand next time with different packaging so I don't have to deal with so much.
purchased a tumbler from Harbor Freight last year and have been tumbling ever since. In addition to the PSU starter kit, we purchased a powder starter kit that they had. Our rock had scratches after we read the instructions carefully, and at the end of the process, we noticed there were some. There was no difference in the hardness of the rocks that were used. had checked for waste after the first and second steps, but scratches were still visible all over the rocks before we completed the project. In order to save ourselves time and money, we ordered this product because it came with the poly plastic filler for recycling and could be used on the same steps later instead of picking up smaller rocks for Additionally, we felt the quality of the powder was much better than the samples we bought at harbor freight! The plastic filler made the rocks more smooth, as well as giving them a unique appearance! The product will be the one we use in the future.
I was very happy with their work. Tumble each grit for 12 hours over the course of three days based on my tumbler instructions. The first day of the month. The rocks actually took 5 days I took longer due to the instructions, but my rocks started to deform as a result of too much Grit periods have been shortened to 1 each. On the fifth day and the fifth stage, I used a new bowl to prevent cross-contamination. This turned out to be a perfect outcome.
With step one grit, I produced a very smooth surface with granite rocks, far more smooth than any other grit I have It took nearly a month for the tumbling grit I used in the past to produce the smoothness that this one produces in just a week. As a result of steps 2, 3 and 4, a glass-like substance was formed On each level, I plan to finish all my rocks with seven-day tumbles. The product is really great, and the price is great too.
A good deal of effort is required to handle the plastic beads. Grit is retained in these parts, which must be washed and cleaned after each usage. Grits that change size are harder to contain in a smaller size. There is a static charge in the plastic and it clings to your hands, to the tumbler, and to My lesson has been learned, so I will stick the ceramic beads next time. I would be thankful if I could rephrase I will order Polly Plastics, but I will use only ceramic there is no need to waste money and time on.
My dad recently bought this as a gift for him. There are no words to describe how he feels! If he gets new rocks to polish, he will definitely purchase again.
A piece of media from Polly Plastics helped him smooth out some ordinary rocks he Our Christmas tree is decorated with some fancy stones. In the New Year, I am eager to see how they come out with Polly Plastics! As soon as we need more, we will order more!.
The packaging is fantastic. I keep it in zip lock bags even though it's in Ziploc A heavy duty zip lock bag was used. The sandwich bag is definitely not an option. In the reviews, 100% stated that the rocks came out dull when I bought it to replace the polishing grit that came with my tumbler. My rocks now seem to have a great shine thanks to the Polly Plastics grit. At first, I was shocked at the results. It worked so well I could hardly believe it. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED film!.
