The truth is you can, just as long as you label and use for exactly the same process. You should just store them in ziplock bags with labels stating which step they were used in. The reason for doing this is that they may still contain some grit, and you do not want them to contaminate a finer grit step.
If you do not have enough rocks to fill a tumbler to the required level, you just put in these as a filler.
It's a question to which there is no real answer. For each grit level, 2 tablespoons should be put per pound of rock. It is easy to figure out how many tablespoons in a 16oz cup
The exact amount is a tough one to estimate. A good approximation is as follows In stage 2 of 60, we have the following This is what is said in stage 3 of 120 I am at phase four of 500 They will float on the surface since they are white and round. The set is a great place to start. In addition to being easy to use, it provides a good way to keep the grits evenly distributed. Grits will come in plastic bags once you have this set and you can purchase them for each stage. You can put them in their proper canisters simply by transferring them. I rarely put more than 1/2 lb of grit into the empty canister, although I would estimate that it holds 3/4 lb of grit when empty. It's common to find bags weighing less than half a pound. This set was a gift I gave to my grandson when he began school.

There was a lot of damage to the box, some of the lids weren't screwed on all the way, and two of the grits were This is something we do quite a bit, and we understand how this results in grit gathering. There is no such thing as that here. The item looks as if it had been used only once or twice, sat in the garage for years, then was thrown into a shipping box without any thought at all. Our purchases were a complete mess, and we won't really be able to utilize them as much as we expected. I also saw the instructions had been ripped and beaten up all over with marks all over them. This was a very disappointing purchase, and I won't be purchasing it.
I'm not happy with that. Tumbling stones has been a magical experience for me in the past, and I bought this grit in hopes of continuing It's a little disappointing, to be honest. It is still possible to improve even after two weeks with the course If you don't like your powder after the first week, try a new one A number of cracks were still visible in my stones although only marginally smoothed. After completing the remaining steps, I went ahead and completed the rest. It took me another week to polish the stones again after they were polished, so they were a little smoother this time but had no luster. The surface didn't shine at all. I'll go back with my slightly more expensive grit kit that is able to deliver great results with the same stones as I've.
The product did not appear to be damaged in shipping. It was clearly a returned item of some sort. I would not buy this product again.
It was a lot of work and he had to spend a lot of money on it. The amount of items in this set made it seem like an excellent purchase. They come in containers instead of envelopes or bags, which is a plus for me. I agree, it is totally worth the price. I would certainly recommend it Just in case this is crappy grit, I might update later. That remains to be seen.
This product did not work for me after spending 5 weeks trying to polish rocks with it. It is simply not effective. It is possible to see the differences between similar rocks in the picture. Two stars due to the initial grits appearing to be okay - the one on the left had been polished with a different brand. The one on the right just came out of the tumbler after two weeks of final polishing with this product. But if the polish doesn't work, then all that work is for nothing. My next purchase will not be this one.
This pack has grit & gritz in it for a great price The Polish language. Do you recall whether the inside of the box was a little "dusty" or if it was merely dusty from its The dusty grit is, of course, on the ground! I received the correct quantities in each container, but did I receive the correct amounts at home? I did, of course! This pack has been doing exactly what it is supposed to and so far, it hasn't disappointed & This product worked great for me, and it accompanied an instruction card that was very handy have reusable numbered containers for future grit purchases, if I decide not to buy plastic bags that do not reseal, get puncture holes, or fall when you.
Grass and pellets are packed in plastic containers which makes storage easy and mess-free, while clearly marking exactly what's inside. I'm using up the last of my previous grits as I type this review, so I look forward to trying these new The results seem to be the same as what I am currently using, so I have no worries about them. The work I have done with this company has been a pleasure.
From what I have seen, this is the best of the three brands I have used so far.
