The wood and letter carving are of the highest quality. There is only one thing I do not like, and that is the lower case "a" is carved the same way. This is not the basic "a" that is taught in school. So now I guess my kids will be fancy "A" writers in kindergarten. As it is a Christmas gift, it has not yet been tested on kids. This item is high on my list of hopes. There are so many ways you can play with letter learning and tracing it can be so much fun for your child and you.
My jaw dropped when I saw how well made and durable that board is! This is a great way for our 2 year old to practice tracing the shapes of letters while he explores the alphabet for the first time. In addition to the beans or colored rice, we also trace the letters with a wooden stylus while lining the grooves. Playing with this stuff is both fun and educational at the same time. We are happy to have this addition to our play room and home.
It's great to have a tracing board like this! In addition to teaching kindergarten, I also worked as a substitute teacher It's important to me to have quality learning tools! This has been a great tool to use with my three and five year old children My daughters are 8 and 11 years old, and they love practicing letter formation this way. We also have fun with rice, beans, and play foam as well as write letters with the pencil it comes with. Whether you want to add it to your home classroom or give it as a thoughtful gift to a toddler/preschooler, this is the ideal item You have a child of that age!.
This was our second purchase since our first one broke in half. The boys loved it, so we bought it again. Please do not worry, this was not an easy task. When a temper tantrum broke out, the book was flung hard and split neatly in two after landing at just the right angle on a hardwood floor. We opted to purchase a new one rather than wood glue the current one back together because the price is so reasonable.
It This seems to be a very high-quality product - Finished in wood, this is a quality product. You can guess who was assigned the tracing board as soon as she got it. This is the kind of toy our 5 year old loves and we should have gotten it much A wooden stylus is easy on the little hands, while the board isn't bulky for the little ones to use. As well as being great for traveling, it is a great size. This would be an excellent tool for any kid that is just beginning to learn how to write. 10/10 would recommend.
This letter tracing board has been a lot of fun to explore. Good quality, smooth wood is used to make them! My favorite part is how they feel, as well as the weight. You can also line up the board by placing a loose sensory object in the shallow groove between each letter or filling the shallow groove with some dry beans while they trace the shape of the letters for younger toddlers. One criticism that I would make is that the font used for the lower case 'a' was not the easiest to read for a beginner, and it didn't match the font used on the instruction sheet. A shallow wood setting would also make it easier to read the letters. In terms of ease of tracing, a deeper letter might be easier to trace with the toddler's finger or the wooden tracing pencil that comes with it. I still think the tracing board is a beautiful and great quality product, and I think it's a great way to encourage early letter sound recognition for young children!.
The wood is of good quality and it is heavy. I'm afraid there are a few problems, first of all, the lower case "a" doesn't match the font the kids learn, or the tracing page. A second-class citizen No taper is seen on the pencil because it is as straight as a stick. As the phrase goes, you get what you pay for with Amazon. The quality of the product is lower than if you bought it directly from the company. To be honest, I think they buy the box and then stuff it full of junk.
We'd prefer the kids to practice letters on a quality wooden board rather than a plastic one that contains toxic chemicals. These are high-quality products and my kids had a lot of fun practicing with them. To make it even more fun, you can add sand to the top and then have your children remove it as they trace.
