It can be an issue for people of different They can begin by learning the basics as soon as they recognize the numbers. Our son enjoyed it a lot and we bought it for him. He will gradually acquire it as he learns to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. The difficulties for each stage are also divided into two levels, which is helpful.

I think this would be the best product for students in grades JK or K (or younger, Learning is more fun with this! I love adding a kinetic component to lesson plans
4/5

In addition to seeing and hearing things and writing them, I think that playing games or doing exercises that involve moving the body helps kids master concepts. In my opinion, that's not a bad idea at all. seems to work well and seems fairly durable (but I am not sure how well it would hold up in the long run- Each student in an entire class is using the term the same way It might not be as durable as you think). While under quarantine, I purchased this book to supplement my first grader's " Distance learning and "curricular materials, though I feel it is more suitable for younger students. Only a few weeks have passed since I brought it home and I am beginning to wonder if it has done its job. think I'm going to use this for a couple of weeks more and then again at the end of the summer so I can refresh my memory. Thanks to that, she no longer asks about doing this activity since it is just too easy to keep her attention. The only time she does it is when I Although she did enjoy it for the first few days, it wasn't long before she began to feel bored. Playing this game is more fun than doing worksheets or using flashcards, and is a nice change of pace from playing games on the computer. It seems to me, however, that math games would be a better investment.

Here are the instructions for the Math Mat The idea is kind of I think the Math Mat is cool and my children (2

The number 5 and the number 5 Having my daughter use it as a math practice tool is a joy. Whenever she sees the Math Mat gives her an equation, such as *what is 2 plus 8' on the 'Easy Level,' she runs around and jumps on the usually the right This Mat tells you what the right answer is if you do not enter a correct number. One of the chief reasons for the Math Mat's popularity and success is that it always stays positive. I wanted to share my three favorite things. On the other hand, my five-year-old son is not able to solve equations, so he works on There is no difficulty level on the Mat other than "Easy". Write the numbers from 0 to 10 in the correct order. In the more "Difficult" Level, children are given a sequence of numbers and are asked to choose the number that is missing. The Mat will say, "What number's next" for example. You will need to tell your child the sequence of "3, 4, _" and they will have to respond with "5" to the question. I expect there will be some lag with the Mat that could prevent it from being used much. Even if a Toddler and a Preschooler have fun identifying their numbers, and a Preschooler has fun filling in the sequence, there will probably be an age gap before they can solve simple equations by adding two numbers together. (On the other hand, maybe if they have the Math Mat there would be no The best educational fun I have had in a long time. Parental motivation and help are likely to be needed by toddlers and preschoolers. A set of 3 AA batteries is required for the Math Mat. When you are ready to play, just place the mat on the floor, then choose whether you want to add, subtract, or identify numbers. So far, everything has been intuitive and we have not needed to refer to any.

I am disappointed
3/5

This was a birthday present for my grandson who just turned five. It was only in the summer that he was able As soon as he took it out of the box, he found that it only worked with the counting and numbers buttons. However, those buttons don't appear to work for him. He really wants to practice the addition and subtraction. I am not happy at all. Besides my daughter who is a kindergarten teacher, her next door neighbor is a high school teacher Two of them are on the door to her. I am so disappointed in the fact that my grandson was so excited to get his after playing hers so much. Exchanges are no longer possible due to an expiration of the exchange window. This product would not be recommended unless I was able to exchange it.

What a disappointment! I bought this game for my kids, who were super excited, but as soon as they played it, they lost all enthusiasm

Their ears hurt sometimes when they hear that voice. In between asking the question and expecting the answer, the time seems to fly by so fast that both kids get frustrated. Well, it's too late now.

In the minds of children, it was just a game, not a tool for learning
5/5

They were fighting over turns to play the math games on this when they were five and six years old. It was the first time they knew I was buying stuff for educational purposes. The kids were astonished to know that a game could also be good exercise. The words of their mouth!.

Can I say it's a little too PC? As a present for my children, I got them this
3/5

It seems to be a fun activity for them. The mat was purchased rather than the hand-held in order to get them hopping a bit for exercise. My only complaints are the following There is very little separation between the areas where you press to play and those where you step on to change the game, repeat the question, etc. So few semi-dedicated areas. The kids who are not coordinated frequently revert back to the previous level or repeat the question when they answer the question. I am also irritated by the following Then the app says, "You're awesome!" no matter how many questions you get right. If you get one right, it gives you the same amount of encouragement as if you get nineteen right. The best part about you is that you are always "amazing!" It reminds me of playing games like that when I was a kid and planning how I was going to beat it My sister or I can try to top myself or our score. Since they didn't want to harm any kids' self-esteem, I assume they were avoiding self-harm By telling them something encouraging rather than overly enthusiastic like "good try" or "keep at it" or something like that, you can gain their respect. I find it to be fun and enjoyable and it helps them with math skills in a fun way, but it is.

That this combines learning with being active makes it very appealing to me
5/5

My kindergartener got this as a Christmas gift. It has so far been very enjoyable for her. In addition to math & science, she enjoys reading There are many other learning games available. My favorite thing about this is how it combines both learning and fun Her Mat is a perfect size for her to hop and skip around on while being active. Taking part in this activity is easy. A user can adjust the vocal volume on two levels. It would be a lot better if it were louder.

The product was not to my liking. I bought it because my 5 year old is fond of math, but it does not do what it promises.
