When they are in use, they make a loud clanking sound. It is worth checking out another brand similar to this that is made of a softer plastic that I think might be a better option for a little child's fingers. For children who are 4 years old, this may be too slippery and difficult to put together. As I stated, they are 90% of what I wanted them to use, but if they were less of a hard plastic and more of a softer material, I think the overall outcome would be better. In addition to being a good deal, they are frequently used by children. It is common for some players to become frustrated when trying to manipulate the game.

I took a look at the specifications and the “questions” before I purchased but did not notice they were the same size and would work seamlessly with the new translucent ones also offered. Having been unable to locate this information anywhere on the web, I contacted the seller directly and they confirmed that indeed they did snap together and work well together. Each of the sets I purchased came in a set. The blocks that snap together can be arranged in a wide variety of ways, which makes them more versatile than the ones that just snap top to Math skills can be strengthened using this game. It's great for counting, grouping, sorting, patterns, and other A 5 year old who received them told me that they have also been good for building robots and the like.

Buying our first set on eBay was a good move for us. In spite of the fact that it was initially bought as a math manipulative, the kids immediately began building with it. I have inherited thousands of Legos from my 11 year-old son who is a Lego "master. " The snap cubes are very popular among him, and I've just got more on the way. In no time at all, he created weapons, flat characters, 3D characters, and aerial vehicles. As I already mentioned, my first set came from eBay and was a used one. In my opinion, the Learning Resources snap cubes should be of the same quality as the ones available on Amazon. That's not true! The product was thin and "sharp," as some other reviewers noted. This brand, on the other hand, is very sturdy and is well suited for I have found them to be very nice to work with and they aren't sharp at all. It is so much fun to play with them that even my 2-year-old loves it. Unless you're going to be going overseas, I highly recommend the clear set if you can swing it. They aren't as ugly as they seem. A light table will be able to see them. The kids' creations gain a nice dimension when they put them together.

It would have been better if I had bought them with my first two children. I am really impressed with their ability to help my daughter learn math and count. Despite the fact that I have been passing on these for a long time, I thought there might be other things in my home that could help my daughter with I decided to use this method when I was having difficulty teaching her how to count by tens. I am amazed. It took her just minutes to learn to count by tens all the way to 100 and she was completely able to remember it. As well as having fun with them, she has a great time with them. The purchase was well worth it.
