Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how big each cube is? Can you tell me how many cm are in a cm x cm x ?

The size of the box is 2 cm by 2 cm by

Although there was mention of a booklet in one review, I didn't see it in the Can a booklet be found with this item?

This product does not include a booklet, but only the cubes in a heavy-duty, clear ziplock Despite the slight disappointment with the product, it is still a great purchase the cubes are extremely sturdy, won't crack or chip easily, and fit into one another well. The set contains 100 cubes in 10 different color rows of 10, each cube has a different pattern on it, so your child will be able to learn The number bond makes sense to my daughter, I just give her ten cubes and ask her to come up with different ways to get ten of them, she gets it. It is not really necessary for the cubes to come with a booklet because there are so many things that parents can use them for. I hope this helps, and

How do these fare in water? Do they sink or float?

You should float.

Do you have the ability to connect them to the sides as well to form a linear pattern, or just to the tops and bottoms?

There is a connection between these on either side. Connecting in a line, or an L or a cube would be possible. Not just a Unifix cube train set, but a fun building set. Buying this set is a great idea!

Numberblocks are great for math and for making math problems
5/5

It's so fun for my kids to play with (Gr. 5 & Gr. This is his 7th year of life. They don't have number block toys in the US, so I bought these and A hot glue gun was used to attach the eyes and mouth The mouths and the teeth You can use pipe cleaners for arms by wrapping the wrapper around them! It's hard to believe that the kids love them so much. Disassembling them and playing with them is something they love to do They should be reassembled and reassembled again I like to solve math problems just like in Numberblocks. In my experience, the block snaps really nicely into place & These little kayaks are perfect for my kids. They need a little help snappering the kayaks together, but I think they will figure it out.

Using this without a hammer is not recommended
3/5

It seems like I had ordered this same product before (perhaps a year ago), and was quite satisfied (so much that my grandson wanted more). The product I received just now doesn't meet my expectations. We are having a problem with the blocks not being pliable. I am not sure if you have limited the amount of materials you use or why it has happened. In the last few days, my grandson, who is 6 years old, has injured his fingers numerous times trying to connect the blocks. In order to soften the fabric, we even placed them in the sun. The material had to be warm for that to work. This is not something that I will order again, nor would I recommend it to a parent of a young child.

I have found this to be the best math learning tool I have tried
5/5

If you can get 5 sets of 100, that would be great. An extremely versatile math tool that is well constructed and easy to use. As a homeschooling mother with a PhD in Molecular Biology, I am passionate about teaching. My kid should have a solid understanding of math as one of the most fundamental skills. When I first started out, I was just using duplo blocks to illustrate addition and subtraction, and I didn't see why I would need anything else. There were these Mathlink cubes I found as well. So far, they have proven to be the best math learning tool I have used. The table and chairs are well made and easy to assemble/disassemble for me (slightly difficult for my 5 year old to assemble, but she can easily pull them apart) they are well constructed and stay together well. These blocks actually let you build 3D shapes (you just need to be a little clever with how you rotate each block). With my 5 year old, I might build a 3 X 3 X 3 cube and explain to him why 27 is the number of a cube, while my 3 year old might build a "crane" that is 30 blocks high with the cubes. Their function replaces what we used to use for cuisenaire counting. The Singapore Math work book uses these illustrations to illustrate concepts. Using them as illustrations of multiplication is a good idea. These plastic number cubes are used to practice place value (10, 1, etc. ), subtraction with borrowing, and many other things. They come in a set of 100, and have My recommendation is to buy at least five sets of 100 for homeschoolers. It would be ideal to have about 50 of each color so that you can maximize the effectiveness of this educational tool. There is only one disadvantage of these blocks - you have to buy a lot of them in order to use them effectively. You will also notice that there are 5 holes on each six sided cube and only one "nubbin" that pops My first wish was that there were two "nubbin" sides, so that it would be easier to build stable 3-D An example of a D shape. Nevertheless, after using them every day, I've concluded that the 5/1 design allows the toy to be the most flexible for teaching math. Is their shape a choking hazard? Definitely. Toddlers can chew them up, but will they be damaged? I'd say yes. What will happen when they are used for years ? My knowledge of the topic is limited. With an inordinate amount of use, given the somewhat rubbery plastic material they are made of, they are likely to last a few years. As a result, they are not quite as durable (or made with as much precision) as Lego/Duplo products, which last However, it's still an excellent purchase.

Heals hands but hurts them
3/5

These are from the same company on Amazon and I own two sets. The latter should be the exact same thing as the former. It's a dream come true to have my first collection. My heart is filled with love for We are so easily able to split up and come back together again. It is easy for my 6 and 4 year olds to use on their own and they can play with it for hours I recently broke out a second set since I lost some from the first. Having to deal with the second set has brought nothing but frustration and pain to my children. I am unable to manipulate them with my hands or my little ones because they are too difficult. It's usually been a learning tool that I could rely on (no pun intended) for my kids to use on their own without any direction from me. As for this second set, they are crying, angry, and hurting themselves as they are unable to manipulate the blocks into the shapes or numbers that they desire. I'm incredibly disappointed by the inconsistencies of the product with one stellar set and another that is far from stellar. Christmas is just around the corner, so I wanted to purchase more. There will be no change in my behavior. When it comes to number blocks, you will not have frustrated children if you go elsewhere.

Designed by my five-year-old, the Batman furniture is part of our family's home. The one who is also responsible for adding together eight is also the one who comes up with the addends.

I highly recommend this math tool as it is incredibly powerful and useful
5/5

Math learning tool that you can use with your child. It was difficult for me to get my son to understand math while looking over his assignments. Then I decided I needed help and started looking for a way to get it. As I was researching, I discovered the mathlink cubes, so I decided to try them out. I am so glad I did because it's great to have a physical product that you can use to demonstrate how much money you have The four equals six formula suited us just right. His ability to see that he had so many blocks and figure out how to figure it out by adding to or taking away from them helped him. My son is benefiting from using this product, and I am thankful I came across it.

Toy that allows you to express yourself creatively! It was a surprise to me when my kids asked for them
5/5

Daycare provides them, and they want to have some at home as well. My opinion is that they were well Among the many things they've been made into so far are rabbits, cats, all kinds of pokemon, birds, buildings, plates, carrots, jelly beans, towers, and wands. Two weeks have passed, and that's just the beginning!

The size is basically square, a little bit larger than a standard 2 x 2 We have more of some colors than others, so the colors you get seem to be truly random. If you need more than one set, I'd recommend purchasing more than one. It's better if there are two or three There are more things they can do.
