This was a perfect outcome. It looks great and is very kid-friendly. It is of a reasonable size. It's a flexible nook that can be used in a variety of settings as a child grows older and the space around them changes. br>However, the assembly process makes you appreciate IKEA in a whole new way. They're mocked by everyone, but whoever designed this makes Einsteins out of their designers, who worked with far more durable materials. I wouldn't say it was difficult to put together, but. . . As if the final shape was the most important thing and dictated everything, no thought was given to the strange contortions or special tools that might be required for specific steps. (The cam bolts on the inside of the slanted top compartments, for example, require a screwdriver to tighten, but a regular screwdriver will suffice. ) The length of the screwdriver is insufficient for the available space. )br>In the same way, I wouldn't say the instructions were difficult to understand. The components were all in good condition. I've labeled and organized everything. The instructions, on the other hand, tend to group a number of steps together in a way that IKEA would not. br>Well, I suppose these are the costs of doing business. repercussions for the overall low-cost nature of the product Again, I had no trouble putting this together, but I completely understand why others might.

It appears to be a good fit for me. It drew my child in like a cat to a scratching post. br>It's sturdy, and it took me about an hour to put together on my own.

We bought one for my toddler's room a while back and he loves it, so we decided to get another for our baby's room. I'm a little disappointed because the design has changed and it's now more difficult to assemble. Moreover, despite our efforts, a portion of it does not line up correctly. br>It's also worth noting that this book nook is designed for small children, and the cushions aren't waterproof, so if there's an accident, you'll have to discard the foam insert, as we discovered with our toddler's book nook. We had to replace the entire cushion because the fabric ripped while we were attempting to remove the foam. Although the cushions on the new book nook have a zipper, they are still not waterproof. When we attempted to order a replacement cushion, we were told that they were out of stock. You'd think that this would alert Kid Kraft to the fact that they should make them waterproof, but it appears that they make more money this way.

I really like this product; my daughter is two and has a lot of books, so I was able to put it together quickly, and she loves it. It's the perfect height for that age group, but I don't think it'll last much longer than her fifth birthday. br>Recent changes: She's five years old, and she still uses this book shelf, which is in perfect condition. Spider Gwen could also be her.

This is excellent in terms of quality - It's extremely durable, and the materials used to assemble it are extremely safe. I've put together furniture like this before, and there's always something that doesn't line up, or the screws don't go in tight enough, or things just snap together and could snap apart - That's not the case here. It's exceptionally well-made. made with care and consideration- out. And it looks great. br>I put it together in 30 minutes by myself. I finished it in 45 minutes and had a few setbacks, but I'm pleased with it overall. br>My 1. 5 yr- It's a hit with the kids, who are eager to climb all over it and pull books out. br>I'd buy from this company again in a heartbeat.

We placed this bookcase in front of my 2-year-old's large bay window so that he can climb up and down more easily with the help of a sturdy, functional piece of furniture. It's the perfect size for the next few years, but I'm hoping to find something similar in a larger size in the future; he enjoys looking at books in the seat, pretending it's a boat or car, and so on; and it's sturdy enough for me (125) to sit on the top shelf as well. I like the slanted sections as well. They're ideal for storing our bedtime books, which range in size from tall to short board books, maximizing the available space. When he outgrows board books, it may become less useful. He enjoys putting his toy cars in the garage. Place larger stuffed animals in the compartments below to sleep. The only criticism is that some of the holes and hardware on the topmost pieces did not line up or go deep enough. We just used strong wood glue and the included dowels instead, and it worked fine. It took me about 30 minutes to put myself together to that point, with my son's "assistance," but it took me longer to figure out the problem. We weighed down the top shelves with heavy books while the wood glue set overnight.
