The smell of chemicals and spray paint was overpowering when my husband took it out of the box, but he assembled it anyway in the hopes that it would air out. When it was finished, I discovered a sticker warning that the furniture contained formaldehyde, which is carcinogenic. I ordered my husband to remove it from the nursery immediately. Until you buy it, open it, and put it together, there are no warnings in the description. I will not allow this item to be near us if it bears a warning label! Beware!.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the middle section is wasted space, so I skipped the cardboard dividers and now have three extra-deep cubbies where I can store items behind the cubbies I bought. This is the third one I've bought. My children are enamored with theirs. I highly recommend this product because it is so cute.

It was simple to follow the instructions. All of the items were clearly labeled. There was one extra part, but it wasn't lacking in any way. It took me a long time to put together on my own, but there's a lot of hand screwing. It also takes up a lot of room as you work through each step. Because the white color was out of stock, I was in contact with the company. They responded quickly and informed me when it would be available again. This makes me very happy. It's being used to store all of the children's shoes in the foyer. They've taken over my shoe closet, which was a shambles. I'm hoping that this solution will help you get rid of your headache.

The main issue we have with it is that we believe it takes up too much space and does not utilize the space behind the front cubbies. Back there, everything is inaccessible. They could have done a better job of designing a piece that makes the most of the space available. It's a nice piece for a kid's room, but the cubbies are small and it's more for show than anything else.

Pros:
- It's one of the few corner pieces of furniture that extends outwards into the room, effectively filling the space. Its appearance is appropriate for my child's bedroom.
- br>br>Cons: It's heavy and sturdy. br>br>
- As many other reviewers have noted, mine arrived a little battered as well. A few of the corners have been crushed and chipped. I simply did not have the energy to pack it all up and return it, so I remained silent.

- The odor that has been mentioned in other reviews is not a joke! In fact, I went into my infant's room in the middle of the night to change her and had to take her out because I was afraid I was destroying all of her brain cells. The smell is very strong and lasts for several days - even with an open exterior door and a fan running

- I used a small manual screwdriver and proceeded with caution during assembly. It would leave a mark even if you made the tiniest mistake or touched it incorrectly.

For a small space, this is the ideal shelf. My daughter doesn't have a lot of space in her room. Because that is the only available wall space, I needed something that could hold a lot of books and fit into the corner. This small shelf is just right and looks adorable. It's almost as if she's got her own personal library. There's a lot of room in there. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and it was made at a reasonable cost.

I absolutely adore it! Bins to match the colors of my reading group, which I haven't yet photographed: Yellow, blue, and green are the primary colors used in this design. br>I spent about an hour and a half putting this together by myself. Everything went according to plan. Just make sure to lay everything out first; all of the holes were perfectly aligned, and the package and shelf were in perfect condition when they arrived. br>I'll admit that the box is quite heavy, so having a second person to assist me in carrying it was extremely beneficial. After putting it together, I rolled it into place with the help of a dolly. br>I'm not using the enclosed wall anchors because the students aren't using them, and I may be moving classrooms next year. br>This was an excellent purchase that made it a lot easier to organize reading group materials.

It's pretty gentle and scratches easily, but it looks nice. br>br>The bins, however, irritate me. They should be half an inch higher because there is a significant gap between the top of the bin and the shelf, as shown in the attached photos. br>br>In one review, it was mentioned that if you don't install the deviders, you can get extra storage space behind the bins, which I think is a great idea because otherwise you waste a lot of space - It's enough for three bins. If you go this route, keep in mind that if you don't put a bin in, a line will appear where the devider would be, so plan ahead (I'd put a devider on the shelf/es you don't plan on using bins on).
