It isn't the case. My daughter is only 4 feet tall, but she is able to reach everything.

He ordered a bookshelf for my youngest daughter because we were ordering one for my oldest daughter. We needed something that would last longer than our fabric ones because she is starting to expand her book collection. They're fantastic.
The nut broke right through the cheap cardboard while assembling this garbage cardboard bookcase, which initially seemed sturdy, but I'm no hulk, and the holes don't line up. To tighten, you must approach it from an angle. "Snap!" says the narrator, and he does it well. " straight through the shelf," he said. This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my child, and it's Christmas Eve. I planned to place gifts on top of it and show him the Mickey bookcase with a bunch of gifts inside and a bow on top. Instead, when I get to the first step of the instructions, it stops working. Because this is the cheapest piece of garbage I've ever put together, and I've put together stuff from Walmart and Big Lots that have lasted years, I'm guessing the good reviews are from the flyer they include in the box asking for a review to be entered into a $2500 sweepstakes.
This shelf is so sweet! As you can see, my son was so excited to get it that he piled EVERY book in the house on top of it. The thrill hasn't worn off yet, and the durability has proven to be excellent after bearing so much weight. It's not at all tippy, and the little scenes on each shelf give it a lot of personality. I would strongly suggest it.
This was a fantastic addition to our children's play area. Made of high-quality wood that is extremely long-lasting. It will, without a doubt, last for many years. It was simple to assemble, and everyone enjoys it. The graphics are a lot of fun to look at! Birthday, Christmas, or just because gifts are all perfect occasions for this gift.
It's a big hit with my three and four-year-olds. The box was a little dented on one side on the outside, and the packaging was torn up a little on the inside. Fortunately, no damage was done to the bookcase. One of the bolts, however, had a head that was not shaped properly to screw it in, as shown in the photo. I was able to tighten it by hand, but not completely. Even with the screws properly tightened, the Chase piece on top is a little flimsy. For the Chase head piece, they should've used the same bolts.
This has a dreadful off-putting quality to it. There is a gassy odor. We can still smell it even though it's been a few weeks. Because it's so shaky, you'll need to use the included wall anchor. It's cute, but I didn't realize the shelves are all the same width, and the only place for tall books is on the top shelf, which makes it even more unstable. or the Elmo eyes on top aren't visible. I adore the vibrant colors - However, I am unable to ignore the odor! I put mm together on my own, but it would have been a lot easier with two people. I'm a patient person, but I was becoming frustrated with the assembly process on my own. I had hoped to remove the cloth shelf and replace it with this one, but I am unable to do so. Now that I have two shelves, I can fit the taller books on them. br>br>It would also be fantastic if there was a way to change the eyes! Elmo is not adored by all children. br>br>Overall, it's cute and colorful, and it adds a splash of color to the space. It does have some books in it, and the images are full of interesting things for curious children to look at.
This is a lovely bookcase that is also quite sturdy. I would have returned it the next day if it hadn't been so popular with my grandson. It emits an odd odor. I tried contacting the seller to see what could be done, but due to Covid, they were unable to answer their phones. The stench pervaded the entire residence. I'm going to seal it with some high-gloss spray lacquer that I bought. That should suffice, in my opinion. In the meantime, it's down in the cellar. Only a few people who bought this product were bothered by the odor. However, it is a lovely bookcase.
We keep books on the bottom shelf, while he keeps his cars and figurines on the top shelf. The shelf is much more sturdy than I had anticipated, and the graphics are extremely colorful. It's not difficult to put together, but you may need an extra pair of hands because it's difficult to position it properly for assembly when working alone. Large Sesame Street "stickers" can be found on the shelf. The stickers clung to the shelf's edge, but they clashed with the existing graphics. When we tried to repurpose them, they wouldn't hold on to anything else.
