the method of gluing my own wheels, because it increases rigidity with duct tape inside. In addition, if I do this myself, I know that the tire and rim will not separate like some pre-glued wheels. Glued sets that I have purchased in the past. I have tried it on all surfaces except tall wet grass, and it has great traction. There is no sharp edge on the tread that can cause more rollovers, so I like how the tread fades into the sidewall.
Sadly, there are no pictures of the event. It is primarily the foam that is causing problems. In addition to tearing apart the tire, they will blow out one side at high speed to destroy the tire. In addition to that, the wheels are not very durable. There are better tires out there, but the tires on these seem durable. Tires are such an unnecessary expense. Don't cheap out on them.
They appear fine although the wheels are junk, and the hex fits loosely. Wheels would not be used.
I had these for practice and the first wheel broke after 8 minutes of running and the second broke after 5 minutes. During practice, the tires have been great, but the wheels have been terrible.
All you have to do is glue the pieces together.
In one race of the wheel, there was a blowout.
