This isn't a sensored esc, so don't expect it to work. So, yes, you can use it to power a sensorless motor.

There is no such thing as longevity

I didn't even get a battery out of it before it started to heat up a little bit. Switching to a flashing red light that won't turn off, regardless of the battery, car motor, or anything else. It was a sour lemon with a high price tag. I gave two stars because it was a replacement. It could have been a fluke, but it was a replacement, and I will no longer be purchasing this brand of esc or servos.
