Questions & Answers

I'm not sure what the green ring on this is for, and whether it's necessary or not. ?

You can cut the green ring, which is ferrite and reduces interference, but I don't recommend doing so.

The surface charge of my batteries is 27 volts when fully charged. Is that acceptable, given the maximum input voltage of 26 volts?

Yes, if you're talking about LiPO batteries. Lipos all charge a few volts higher than what they claim to be.

Does this bec require the use of a bypass cord?

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you're asking. A bypass cord is a device that allows you to switch from a 5v to a 6v output by moving a jumper. the other way around

The output is a five. What is the maximum input voltage at 6 volts? Is it necessary to use a pdb with a 5v output to power this, or can I use a 12-volt battery? 16v?

The input voltage of 16 volts will suffice.

When you need 5v or 6v output or power for your quad fc, you must have it on your rc models that require at least 2 or 3 servos
5/5

This is applicable to the majority of rc hobby models, including rc helicopters, rc planes, quadcopters, and rc cars. I'm using it on my FPV 210 Quadcopter; my escs don't have an integrated BEC, so I bought this standalone UBEC to power my flight controller. br>br>Here are some basic functions for the standalone UBEC: switch model 5V or 6V I got,br>br>The Li-ion battery I got,br>br>The Li-ion battery I got,br>br>The Li-ion The ESC will be powered by the Po battery. assemble the brushless motor, radio Rx/receiver, and servos Most built-in BECs are only capable of supplying power to the radio Rx/receiver and servos without overheating or glitching. When the Rx receiver overheats or has a glitch, it will reboot (restart), leaving you unable to control it until the process is completed. Almost two seconds is the average time. The servos may turn to their maximum travel before returning to neutral during the reboot process, preventing you from gaining control. Your model will move at random as a result of this. When your model overheats or glitches at a high altitude, it is still safe, but you never know when it will happen. Connecting the UBEC to the Li-ion battery will accomplish this. The balance plug for the Po batt. It is necessary to change the header of the UBEC's input cable to the proper Li-ion connector. It's great, it's simple to set up, and there's a lot of documentation
5/5

It arrived in excellent condition, with clear instructions and all of the specifications you could possibly require. Also, the UBEC has good labeling on the back of the board, which is always helpful when wiring it up or after you've thrown the manual away. br>br>The manual is attached if you misplaced it or want to see what's in it.

It's not worth the trouble
3/5

The first one I used burned up the second time I used it because it was poorly constructed. That's probably why you're getting two.

For the Raspberry Pi 4, a clean output source is required
5/5

The input and output traces on the PCB were spaced at a distance of about 0. I used a 20V laptop brick to power it and used it to power a RPi 4 through the regular USB power port. Nice clean signal at the output and handles the load without getting hot.

On a 6s battery, do not use! When connected to a 6s battery, this product malfunctioned, destroying a $100 800mW telemetry radio

It was exactly what I needed
5/5

Due to old batteries, the receivers on a couple of RC planes browned out, and they were lost. In my rc airplanes, I use these in conjunction with the BEC built into the esc, which is connected to a second battery. The results have exceeded my expectations. The old packs are still being flown, but they are no longer crashing.

Hobbywing 5V-Piece 5V-Piece 5V-Pi a 3 amp switch mode- UBEC
5/5

The switch mode units do a fantastic job. They arrived in excellent condition and on time; I purchased several because the ESC I purchased by mistake did not include a BEC, and they saved the day when I used these units to get the ESC to work without a battery. These units were less cumbersome than using a separate battery to power the receiver.
