The animals' backs are completely covered by the magnet. They might be entertaining to a 15-month-old. They can use them on the refrigerator or a metal cookie sheet when you're in the kitchen. Because of the choking hazard, remove the smaller animals, which are made of sturdy wood. Just in case there's a nibbler on the loose. I hope this has been of assistance:
Melissa was the person I reached out to. Doug and his team confirmed that none of their products, including magnets, contain any lead. Furthermore, all of the paint is non-toxic. toxic.
Paper is used to print the images. With a magnet on the back, it's glued to very nice, smooth plywood. A small child will be able to chew off the images.
Yes, I put them on a magnetic board after removing them from my refrigerator due to scratches.

The materials are made of wood. backed. These magnets are so adorable, and my one-year-old daughter loves them. They are a lot of fun to play with. They've assisted me in teaching him how to recognize various animals. The animals are a nice mix of farm and jungle. My only (significant) criticism of them - These aren't just wooden like they say. The animal prints are made of cardboard that hasn't been treated with a protective coating. The print begins to deteriorate as soon as they are wet (washing, teething, etc. ). This is a major oversight in the production of these magnets, and they need some laminate or modge podge or something to keep them looking nice. You all know what I'm talking about, don't you? . . . They should be worn. These arrived today in the mail. When I put them on the fridge, one of the stickers peeled off within 10 minutes of my little one playing with them! If they don't last longer than 10 minutes, it's not worth the money!.
Doug. On September 19, I placed an order for these for my 1-year-old daughter. We've only had them for a month and a half. They appeared to be of good quality and had vibrant colors. They are adored by her. They live at the bottom of the food chain. We've gone through half of our refrigerator and are having a great time discussing the various animals. I noticed the giraffe magnet was starting to peel away from its wooden base about two weeks ago! Is this for real? We had only just begun to put them to use! My daughter noticed the peel as well and, like most toddlers, fiddled with it until she was able to pull it off completely. This is not only a sign of poor workmanship, but it could also be a choking hazard if she tore off a small piece. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but I'm now checking the others for any signs of compromise, which is a shame. Melissa is one of our favorite brands. Doug's products are good, but this tarnishes the company's reputation. Purchase them only if your child intends to look at them through the package and never use them for their intended purpose.
These tiny magnets are the perfect size for small hands without being dangerous, and they stick securely to the fridge and chalkboard without being too difficult to remove and rearrange for my 18-month-old son. br>They are attractive and colorful, and they appear to be of good quality. They feature a wide range of familiar animals. I would highly recommend this set, especially for the price. I believe we will get a lot of use out of these, and my son has shown that he enjoys playing with them on a daily basis.
These magnetic creatures are a hit with us! We use them around the house and take them with us on the go for quiet activities when we have a metal dry erase board. I did have to glue some of the animals down because they started peeling right away. The animals are printed on a thick piece of paper. I used heavy-duty paper and glued it to the wooden cutouts, just going around the edges with super glue to keep them from peeling. Obviously, you wouldn't be able to do this if your child still put things in his or her mouth. The other issue for which I contacted the company was a poisoning hazard. The animals are housed in a wooden box on top of a blue piece of cardboard, which, at first glance on Christmas morning, I mistook for the painted bottom of the box. After a few minutes, my son has extracted the cardboard from the box. A moisture packet is glued to the back of the cardboard with the words "DO NOT EAT" written across the front. By looking at the toy, you wouldn't know it was there. I contacted the company after the cardboard was thrown away. It is our responsibility as parents to inspect toys thoroughly, but the packaging appeared to be in good condition. I'd buy it again, but parents should be aware that the back side of the cardboard could contain a poisonous packet.
I do have a clear gloss spray paint in my garage, so I might end up spray painting them all just to make sure they stay on, because I've read that they have some peeling issues, and I'm wondering if spray painting them all would solve that problem, but so far these things are amazing. I guess she's like I had God's grace for being blessed because I have metal doors all over my house and they are all metal so we can put them up on any door and they're almost everywhere they seem. It's cool, too, as this will enable you to let your hair down. When your child's aa lot quieter than their fellow members of the family that could cause them to misbehave, if something really happens or the family just doesn't have a lot of time to.
