Questions & Answers

Is the amount of material small? There is an 18-month-old and a 4-year-old in the house. I'm a little concerned about the size of the piece. ?

The individual pieces are quite large. Although the triangles are small, I don't believe they could be swallowed by a child. The magnets inside the pieces are probably the most concerning aspect, but we've never had any of them come apart, and I don't believe they ever will; we got the original set when my oldest was two and my youngest was six months, and I had no concerns.

What's the difference between the versions from 2015 and 2016? (Apart from the cost)?

There are no versions for 2015 and 2016. They're attempting to make you believe it's something unique. It's possible that colors are involved. We have four sets totaling more than 300 pieces that we purchased over the last two years.

What do you recommend for boys aged 8 and 6?

The magformer set, in my opinion, is suitable for children of all ages. They're a hit with my 4- and 2-year-olds. I even enjoy constructing things out of them. The show is both entertaining and educational. To build more complicated structures, I needed two sets.

I believe these will be a nice addition to the collection
5/5

Gosh - There are plenty of magnetic construction sets to choose from! When I was looking for Christmas ideas for our 4-year-old, I came across them. 1/2-year-old grandson, but he was also perplexed - There are a plethora of options, such as Magformers, Super Magformers, and Magna-formers. Fans of Tiles, Playmags, Picasso Tiles, and Tegu Blocks abound! After doing some research on each, I decided on this 62-year-old woman. basic set of pieces - They're a bit pricey in terms of our wallet, but I like the cutouts on these, which should make them easier to hold for our grandson - Super Magformers also have cutouts, but they're bigger (though I've heard that neither type of Magformer stands up on its own due to their rounded sides, and the insides of the shapes have cylindrical magnets that spin around, so you have to stack them one by one - Cleaning up after play takes a little longer, and it appears to take up a little more space. ) I'm thinking about Tegu - which are actually magnetic blocks made out of wood - I believe it is for our 2-year-old grandson, but I believe it is for our 4-year-old grandson. These will be a big hit with my 1/2-year-old grandson! There are 12 pentagons, 20 triangles, and 30 squares, as stated in the description. Each pentagon's and square's sides are each two squares. Each traiangle is 2" in length and 1/2" in width. I really like how each shape is a two-dimensional design. Whether it's turquoise/dark blue, yellow/pink, purple/green, orange/red, or purple/green orange/red, the tone color is important. It has a very cool and eye-catching appearance. catching! A model booklet is included, which depicts a number of different sets that are available. Your child can construct an hourglass, a fish, a heart, a microphone, a house, a UFO, a few different rockets, stars, and buildings with this particular set. I've never heard of D shapes like a cube or hexagonal prism, but they're a lot of fun to say. Tetrahedron, octahedron, cuboctahedron, icosahedron, dodecahedron, icosidodecahedron, and rhombicuboctahedron are all examples of polyhedrons. Oh, my goodness! (One thing to keep in mind. ) I took a "quick look" - Grandmas have the right to do whatever they want! The tray that holds the shapes inside the box is extremely flimsy, despite the fact that the outside box is sturdy. You might want to have another container on hand to store the pieces in.

Toy that you like to play with the most- On the light table, however, it's not so good
4/5

To begin, I'd like to state that this is one of our favorite toys. The magnets are nice and strong, so your creations will stay together nicely, the colors are vibrant, and there are enough pieces to make some cool things. They're popular with my kids because they're easy to grip. I keep a close eye on them, but I'm not concerned about pieces falling apart because they appear to be well-made and sturdy. br>The only thing that disappointed me was that I purchased this set to use on our light table, but they appear to be rather drab. Although the pieces are transparent, the designers decided to make each one different colors on the front and back for some inexplicable reason. Some of them are light blue, while others are dark blue. The purple/green and yellow/pink pieces, on the other hand, appear muddy. I wish they were all the same color. I wish I had bought Picasso tiles for this purpose. Despite the fact that they aren't as pretty as I had hoped, they have been a huge success! br>(The first image is of a fun game I came across- To allow them to build on a magnetic surface, I taped a cookie sheet to a tray table. It is extremely effective!.

Compared to other magnetic building toys, they're a hit with my toddlers! I'll have to get if I don't want to
5/5

Although these magformers are more expensive than other magnetic building toys, my toddlers adore them. They keep telling me they don't have enough, so I'm going to have to get a bigger set: These, I believe, are the new Legos!.

Great toy, we have a lot of them, and they are a lot of fun
5/5

These are a huge hit with my son. He's requested them for his birthday three times now. I'm always impressed by how inventive he is with his construction. We now have a large number of them, in a variety of sizes and shapes, which is a lot of fun. Simply purchase standard kits rather than those with themes such as log cabins or vehicles. Simply allow the children to use their imaginations to create.
