Colors are stunning, and the pieces are of excellent quality. Toddler approved after being stomped on by him. I played with them for about 4 hours the first night, and they are fairly sturdy while being easily disassembled. It's a visual and auditory feast. I like the sounds and how they make me feel. Even putting them back in the box is a lot of fun. They were purchased for a 19-month-old who is only now beginning to appreciate them.
My 4-year-old granddaughter insisted on getting magnet blocks so she could build a jail. We went to Amazon and she chose these. They are a huge hit with her! She constructs large structures, such as jails, in which the bad cars are housed. These are popular at her preschool, so she was thrilled to have them at my house as well. Her magnetic blocks are a different brand than the ones she has at home, and they seem to stick better. Only one wall can be erected without it collapsing. The presentation was a disaster. It landed in the rain on my lower deck, with no protective covering! The outer box had been soaked through and through. I kept checking because I had a feeling it was going to happen. When I got it inside, the inner box was only slightly damp.
I have a group of toddlers ranging in age from one to three years old. 3 yrs. These didn't appeal to them as much as they might have appealed to a more mature child. They played for about 15 minutes before the little ones, who couldn't make them into cubes because you have to hold several pieces at once, simply pushed them off the table. To be fair, they do this with everything, so the issue isn't so much the product's quality as it is the recipient's age range.
I suppose hearing the magnetic make a noise while using it is normal. It's not a big deal, but it's something to be aware of. All 70 pieces appear to be delicious, and I'm eager to try them. I've heard it can create beautiful and colorful shadows with light, and I'm going to show it to my daughter.
My three-year-old can construct houses and other structures, and my one-year-old can do anything. My 1/2-year-old loves stacking and pulling them apart, and I love that as they get older, they'll be able to use them in more complex ways. I'll be adding to our collection by purchasing more in the future!.
I passed these up at the store because they were three times the price, and this brand is actually better. Strong magnets that can be washed without allowing water to get inside, providing hours of entertainment and imagination. I would definitely recommend this brand, and I'm considering purchasing more to add to our existing collection of 70 tiles.
These were purchased for my grandson, who is five years old. He is enamored with them and uses them in a variety of ways. I've worked on projects with him, and these are a lot of fun to use! For Christmas, I'm thinking about getting him some more.
These were purchased as a present for my grandson's fourth birthday. He wasn't sure what they were at first, but after his sister demonstrated how to use them, he went to town and spent hours playing with them.
