It's ideal for a 2-year-old because the pieces aren't too small.

We bought a few as Christmas gifts for his cousins because he loves them so much. There are ten different animals in this one. There are three pieces to each animal. Head, forelegs, and hindlegs are the three parts of the body. The pieces are big and comfortable to hold. As a result, this is an excellent set for children who are just learning to play. The pieces are made of pressed cardboard with a thin magnet backing on the back. As a result, it is not recommended for children who continue to chew or put toys in their mouth. The pieces would most likely be damaged by their saliva and teeth.
I'm going to church with this as a "quiet" toy. My two-and-a-half-year-old grandsons, as well as some older kids who will sit with us, enjoy it. I also enjoy playing with it, despite the fact that I am 62 years old. I like how the box keeps it "contained. " I just wish there was some kind of closure to keep it from "spilling" in my church bag.
This is a big hit with my 3-year-old. She enjoys traditional puzzles and spends a lot of time working on them. This is one of the things she does every week. Because the board can be in any position, she probably preferred the magnetic feature. The pieces stay in place once they've been assembled. My only complaint is that the book does not have a securing feature when closed, so if you aren't careful when carrying it around, they will all fall out. We simply wrapped a rubber band around her wrist. It is in good condition.
My six-year-old daughter is the most enthusiastic about it; she enjoys making various animals and has even devised a game to play with the animals and the cards, which is essentially a guessing game. She also pretends to read it as if it were a book to fool people into thinking she can read because she can't. It's a lovely "book," to say the least. It was larger than I expected, but I didn't check the measurements, so that was my fault. I bought it to take on a flight, but the size was a bit of a problem. Today at home, my 6-year-old has spent the entire day with this. The magnetic pieces are quite strong, and the images are clear and adorable. br>She likes the size. br>You can only fit two finished animals into the background at a time. The "book" holds all of the pieces, as well as the super tough animal cards. The book opens up and has a ribbon to keep the background image in place for a work surface that is upright. br>br>Strongly suggested! br>br>.
Good: sturdily constructed, attractively designed, and a fun game to play with others - Learn the names of animals and their basic body parts, then make "absurd" animals. br>Ideal for improving memory, fine motor skills, and learning. br>However, there are a few flaws: magnetic "play field" of a small size - Only one animal can be carried at a time; however, if you try hard enough, you might be able to fit two small animals. So get a digger magnetic board or move to the fridge if you want to get more game out of it. br>I'd buy this as a gift for a child of one or two years old.
She excels at matching objects with two pieces, so I decided to challenge her with more. The animals are broken into three pieces, with the exception of the Dino, which is broken into four pieces. They are adored by her. I purchased it to use while traveling by car. If you look at her hand, the box isn't too small. The pieces aren't too small for her age, which is a plus. The pieces are brightly colored and durable, and the storage book is both durable and adorable. I like how it has the appearance of a book and can be stored in the same manner. Overall, I would highly recommend this brand and plan to purchase more!.
The magnetic pieces can be stored in the box, which is a nice touch. Each animal is brightly colored and the magnetic pieces are thin. The only criticism I have is that because the pieces are so large, you can only fit two animals on the board at a time; however, the kids love to add more animals! The board itself isn't particularly large.
I wish the magnetic board was a little bigger or the puzzle pieces were a little smaller. Because the board is small and the pieces are large, there isn't much room on the board for more than one animal to be present at a time.
