Hello Buyerbr>Felt animal figures come in a variety of sizes.br>Felt animal figures are the ideal size for small hands. br>The largest is the shark, which is 15 feet long. 7 inches in diameter; Butterflyfish, with a length of 4 inches, is the smallest. Thank you very much.br>
I'm not sure how many, but it's a large number. To the point where the blue background is almost completely covered when they're all up! This is an excellent product.
It has various sides depending on what you intend to use it for.
It isn't a marble, don't get me wrong. The Amazon warning mentions this, but it's most likely referring to the felt animals' googly eyes. The eyes, the Velcro on the backs of the pieces, and the metal attachment points on the edges are the only things that aren't felt.

The picture quality is superb. It is sturdy but not stiff, as it is made of thick felt material. It was a big hit with my 2-year-old twins. You also get a lot of sea life creatures in a variety of sizes and colors. I would strongly suggest it.
This is a large piece of felt, not a felt board by any stretch of the imagination. I'm dissatisfied, and I'll only keep it because I don't have time to look for another option, and it took so long to obtain. It doesn't have a back, and the felt isn't stiff; it's just a folded piece of felt.
The animals that come with it appear to be of good quality and well-made; however, I was disappointed that the blue background came folded, leaving a lot of creases in the felt and preventing it from lying flat against the wall. It would be better if it arrived rolled, but other than that, I am pleased with my purchase.
Felt purchased in a store frequently stretches, whereas this is firm. My one- year- Pulling them on and off is a favorite pastime of the young. I had no idea that each piece had Velcro on the back. Velcro is one of my favorite features. I was afraid it would be like a flannel graph and wouldn't stick well, causing her frustration. I'm going to order two more for friends because the Velcro and pieces are so nice.
This item appeals to me. It was purchased for our 20-month-old son. During the holidays, we gave her a felt Christmas tree, which she adored. So, after Christmas, I figured she'd be interested in something similar. She enjoys putting the various animals and other objects on the felt board, removing them, and replacing them. It's certainly pricey, but I believe it's important to note that the pieces are quite large. I've since bought some more felt sets, but they're all quite small. These are bug-like and brightly colored. The only issue is that the back velcro strips have come loose, and I'll have to glue them back on. I really hope that doesn't happen at this price. But, on the whole, it's a nice set, and we're pleased with it.
My grandchildren, ages 5 and 3, received it as a present. br>Sea animals fascinate them, and they enjoy conjuring up underwater scenes with their imaginations. They told different stories about their "pictures" (which helped with verbal skills), and the older child could label and write a sentence about his creation. This is a fantastic activity.
The only minor (and easily remedied) issue is that some of the velcro is peeling away. It was fixed, though, with a dab of glue. The rest of it appears to be well constructed.
This was a gift for my granddaughter, and I hung it in my hallway. It's a lot of fun to look at, and it's very bright. The only flaw I found was that the stick-on fish and other items did not have enough velcro on the back to keep them in place. I understand the idea of making it simple for a child to remove and move them around, but they simply don't have enough sticking power to keep the fish in place. I ended up securing each piece with velcro, which was a huge help. Otherwise, when my granddaughter and I are upstairs getting ready to go out or to bed, this is a great distraction for her.
