It's soft and well-made. There are no sharp or rough edges around this product. It was even smooth enough to wear sequins. I have a very picky child and she didn't have any trouble putting it on. There's a 3 1/2 year old in my house, but we usually get a four year old. I got a 5, but I did not get a 6. Aside from that, the top fit well, while the pants were both long enough and too big in the waist. The sizing is probably standard. For people who are on the bigger side for their age, I would recommend ordering up. My sewing skills allowed me to stitch up the waistband and cuffs without any issue, so it was comfortable for awhile. I recommend it.
