This costume is a hit with my 5-year-old. He's a big kid who wears size 7 shirts, so this fit him well and gave him plenty of room to move around and play. He adores the fact that the fire extinguisher can actually squirt water, as well as the rest of the kit's accessories.

This is a sweet outfit with matching accessories. For the quality, the price is reasonable. Because the jacket and fire hose are made of vinyl/plastic, they will not withstand high temperatures. If you want something that will last for years of use in a classroom, I'd recommend getting something made of a higher-quality cloth that can be washed repeatedly. If you're looking for a Halloween costume or a dress up costume for your home, like me, I think this is perfect because it can easily fit warm clothes underneath for trick or treating. My son is a three-year-old boy who is fairly average in size. This will fit him for a few years, as he is 5 years old. br>br> The company had it nicely packaged, with a small tote and a notepad with their logo on it. I can tell that this business is concerned about the quality of its goods. I've purchased other iplay products in the past and have been pleased. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose.

My son is a huge fan of firefighters and wanted to dress up as one for Halloween, so I bought him this set. There were some flaws in it, but it served its purpose. br>The coat is too big for a three-year-old. Since it stated that it was for children aged 3 and up, I assumed it was. The coat was rolled up to his ankles after we rolled up the sleeves. He looked cute in it, and the best part was that it fit over his jacket, keeping him warm at all times. The front-of-the-coat clips were difficult for me to fasten and impossible for my child to do, but the pockets worked well and came in handy on occasion. When you put batteries in the walkie-talkie, it makes a noise. I was really looking forward to this until we discovered it was only making siren noises. What would cause a walkie talkie to emit siren sounds? That was a blown opportunity. The batteries were removed after the first 10 minutes because it was too loud and obnoxious. br>The fireman's hat is floppy and a little lame, but we already had a better-quality plastic one, so it didn't bother us. br>We were especially happy to see a working fire extinguisher, but the spray mechanism wasn't great. We thought it was broken at first but eventually figured out that it works but only if the bottle is 100% full. After a few squirts, it ceased to function. br>The hose may appear strange, but it serves its purpose in my children's pretend play. br>At the end of the day, all we wore was the coat and carried the axe around while trick-or-treating. The others were sent back to their homes.
