We try to teach the children proper play, and they enjoy pretending to be doctors. As uncomfortable as that makes a father feel, knowing my child has a smock and mask to keep the game going is reassuring. She enjoys checking our hearts and administering shots to us, which makes us all feel better!.
I am the mother of a two-and-a-half-year-old child. She was ecstatic to receive her gift, as well as the label "Frustration-Free. " It's a JOKE to say "free packaging. " Because everything was sewn in, she had to wait while I cut out each piece of the coat. She then had to wait for me to locate an eyeglass size screwdriver with which she could unscrew the back of the stethoscope and insert two batteries. The play mask has velcro to adjust the size for different children, but the velcro makes it uncomfortable to wear, so it's a waste of time. One branch of the stethoscope is taller than the other, and it won't stay in her ears. The thermometer does not resemble any other thermometer I've ever seen, but it serves its purpose. I bought it primarily for the coat, and it's a darling little number. "Medical staff" is written on the back, and the small pockets are ideal for storing her tools. I gave it three out of five stars because the stethoscope, mask, and thermometer were all disappointing.
This doctor set was a Christmas present for my three-year-old. It arrived after Christmas because Amazon had sent it to the wrong address the first time, and I gave it to my son, who was very excited to play with it. I struggled to release the extras (stethoscope, thermometer, mask, etc. ) from the shirt, and ended up tearing a section of the shirt because I couldn't cut it well enough. The shirt has a flimsy feel to it and is easily torn. The stethoscope isn't even functional. I'm not sure if batteries aren't included or what, but I can't get the battery door to open so I can replace the batteries. This is, in general, a huge letdown. I strongly discourage you from doing so.
This set is adorable and upholds the Melissa and Doug standard of excellence. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves listening to the heartbeat of the stethoscope and giving us all of our shots so we don't get "sickie. "br>br>Even the "instruments" are sturdy and easy for little hands to practice with. br>br> You will not be disappointed if you pay a little more for better quality.
As part of a Halloween costume, I purchased this. I just got the package yesterday and discovered that the stethoscope isn't working. I tried two different sets of batteries, both of which were brand new. My son had a negative reaction.
This was purchased for our three-year-old daughter. We thought this would be a great play option for her to be a doctor and get more comfortable with what they do because it is large on her and she can use it for a long time. She is a little afraid of doctors but says she wants to be one, so we thought this would be a great play option for her to be a doctor and get more comfortable with what they do. Her three-year checkup is coming up soon, and we're going to let her wear it. She enjoys giving us and our very patient dogs check-ups, and it's a fun way for her to use her imagination. The quality is excellent. I really like the little see-through pockets where you can keep all of your tools. She, too, adores the name badge. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
This costume is a hit with my daughter. She doesn't mind wearing it to her doctor's appointments because she isn't afraid. She also uses it at home to entertain her toys, dogs, and parents by playing Doc McStuffins. Melissa and Doug create incredible products, as they always do.
I wanted to get a doctor set for my 2-year-old for Christmas, but this one seemed like a better choice because it didn't have as many pieces. My two-year-old and four-year-old both enjoy playing with it, and I'm hoping to use it to help them feel more at ease during doctor visits. br>The only drawback is that the mask does not fit any of my children properly. The rest of it, on the other hand, is fantastic.
