I just kept pulling it up until the elastic hit her knees rather than her ankles, and she was fine! She could still run, jump, and play! It held up well during her party (even after being washed on a regular cycle and hung to dry) and will be a great addition to her costume collection!.
The quality of the dress is good. It's already been used and washed a few times. The size is exactly what it says on the tin. It is relaxing. Tags and sewing that irritate the skin are not present. We didn't use any of the extras.
The bow on one of the gloves fell off as soon as my daughter opened them (it had a long string of dried hot glue hanging off of it). In addition, the earrings are too small to stay on her ears. br>br>Quick update: br>br> One of the straps completely disintegrated, and the other has completely unraveled. Do not purchase unless you intend to remake the entire costume because it is falling apart.
I really like the outfit, but it's a little too tight for me. All of the extras were poorly made and broke, with jewels falling off and the tiara tip breaking off.
This outfit is absolutely stunning on my niece. It's fantastic for the price, but the small pieces break easily; however, for the price, it's fantastic. May15 is a rough almost 3-year-old, so the material will last. She wears and removes it throughout the day, ensuring that it will last.
It was well-made and presented in a professional manner. There was still enough room for her to walk around in it, but it fit like a mermaid costume should. I'm not sure why a mermaid costume requires gloves, jewelry, and a wand, but she seemed to enjoy them! If your child is in between sizes, I recommend going up a size because her current size was more form fitting and had less room for movement.
Because she is tall for her age, I ordered a 4T for her. I was taken aback because it was beautifully packaged in ziplock bags and folded neatly. It's almost too good to be true in terms of quality. It has made my daughter very happy. It's the right size. I will definitely purchase from this seller in the future. 💜.
The only criticism I have is that the bottom around the feet area is a little narrow, but my daughter loves it otherwise. She wears a size 6 in most of her clothes.
