Uodate: These are now his go-to toys, and he spends the entire day playing with them! They come highly recommended. His physical therapist had just purchased them for her daughter as a Christmas present because of him. br>br>Most of these were given to my son when he turned two in July. Although the Hedgehog wasn't yet available, I placed an order for it once it was announced. He has a rare syndrome that only about 200 people in the world have (which causes him to be delayed in development). He is highly sensitized and enjoys toys with flashing lights and music. Another Fisher-Price toy is his favorite. He 100% has not taken to these, but he likes them. He takes a long time to warm up to a toy. It's extremely uncommon for this to happen. He hasn't played with his favorite toy in over six months, but now he does. His two therapists frequently switch it off during his sessions. I didn't tell her about these because she can't stand all of his singing/lighting toys. She was ecstatic, to say the least! The tone is sarcastic. They're adorable, in my opinion. When you push the others as hard as you can, the hedgehog appears to get them all going. Even when using the reset type pairing button, I seem to have trouble getting the moose to connect. Even with the hiccups, it's a cute toy, and each one is adorable on its own.
The kids will have a blast with these creepy little linkamals. If you don't turn them off at night, you'll have adult nightmares. Chuckee's style is making a comeback. Everything is fine until you trip over a moose, at which point the entire area begins to sing and dance.
For Christmas, I got two Linkimals for my youngest Grand Niece. I can't say enough good things about the new linkimals, but they're built to last and can withstand a lot of dragging around, as Her Mom has witnessed and heard. When the toys arrived at my house, I was astounded at how large they were, and I thought the price was very reasonable. I was expecting toys that were significantly smaller. Fortunately, I had a pair of large-handled bags on hand. If you buy one or more, you'll need a jumbo bag for each one, or at the very least the two I purchased. This is the Hedgehog, which she adored and chose to carry around with her all night, according to Her Mom, who said she still had it with her as well as the Sloth Linkimal she received from Her Grandma on Christmas Day. I did, however, purchase a second one for Her. It was the A to Z Otter, but I didn't hear much about how much she liked it, so it's probably a super toy as well, but for some reason, she preferred the hedgehog and the Sloth to the Otter. They connect in some way, but I'm not sure how, but Her Mom told me that my Niece enjoyed making them sing together. I highly recommend it, and I hope they continue to produce it.
This is a big hit with our grandson! He is so enamored with it that he has repeatedly knocked it over and slid it across the floor, causing the Fisher-Price to collapse. We've only had it for a few weeks, but the price symbols are almost worn off. That said, it's not a major issue. He is unconcerned about who created the toy; all he cares about is that it is entertaining. He instructs students on how to count to five, as well as shapes and colors. He's a fantastic Paul toy as well. Our grandson is only learning how to pull him by the string and cannot yet walk, so it's amusing to see him crawling alongside the hedgehog. It's not very loud, which is my only gripe with it. It is, to some extent, if you pick it up, but because the speaker is on the bottom, it is extremely quiet on carpet. The only change I would make is to move the speaker to a different location.
My seven-month-old daughter's favorite linkamal is the hedgehog, which we have all of. They're easy to connect and a lot of fun to sing with. I would strongly suggest it. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. Our daughter was putting the pull along string in her mouth (as she does with everything), so we decided to take it out. I'll tie a more substantial rope to it when she's a little older.
The Linkamals are cute as a button. The songs are adorable and catchy, and the colors are vibrant and appealing; I especially like how each Linkamal has their own distinct voice!br>However, make sure you turn them off at night. We require a hedgehog for the living room and a sloth for the baby's room upstairs. Hedgehog is sensitive, and a slight brush of her buttons activates sloth upstairs, causing her to start talking. Except at night, it's kind of cute how they interact through different rooms and floors in our house.
At a store, I tried out a toy and it was a success. The toy was already switched on when it arrived. The shipping packaging allowed you to hear it. It has a switch that has been activated rather than a button that could be pressed accidentally. I'm not sure how long it'll last as a gift, and I'm disappointed that someone in the shipping department is playing with the toys before they're shipped.
The sloth was given to me as a gift. So, if you had to get the hedgehog, that's what you'd have to do. I'm not sure what it is about this guy that appeals to my one-year-old, but he does. The songs aren't particularly irritating.
