As a child she was born in China and moved to the U. S. at the age of Despite her familiarity with Mandarin Chinese, keeping her skills here is a challenge due to the lack of Chinese speaking relatives and the fact that she is too young for a tutor (she is 4). It is really hard to find a better book than these! The Chinese platforms Taobao and Aliexpress did not even compare to happy little bear books I looked everywhere, asked my friends in China, and even tried looking on Chinese social media. I have not found any other books that would be interesting for my daughter or that will be too difficult for her. Although we have a couple of other nice board books with just words and pictures, she can’t play by herself and needs me to take care of Our daughter now has a chance to experiment with Mandarin songs on her own with both titles from Happy bear club! It makes her happy to play with books by herself for a long time, she enjoys singing the songs for her toys, she talks to her dolls while they sing the songs ))))) and soon, she will almost master one song on her own. It is hoped that this company will produce more books in the future as these are a must for any young Mandarin student, I definitely recommend them!.

We are so glad we bought this book as a follow up to Peipei's first Music Book! It only took a second book at grandparents' home to keep our daughter's interest in Chinese songs high. Although the first book had great songs, we found that a second book at her grandparents' house kept her engaged. With a mother (who is a native speaker) and a father (who is a 3rd generation American Chinese), this book has eased the gap between the grandparents and their granddaughter so they could begin to learn Chinese tunes together. Grandpa now enjoying learning Chinese, everyone in the family is singing catchy songs together during playtime, and our daughter is in the midst of loving it. I'm so glad to see how the grandparents have become more involved in her language learning since this book was given! I reviewed the first book (which I strongly aspects I love about the book that are also applicable The book is a favorite of my family, so I wanted to include more details about why my family loves it. *1.

It's a mix of English and Spanish Thousands of old translations of Chinese songs of the past and childhood memories
If you grew up with Chinese speaking family, you might remember some of these songs when you were a child. As soon as I heard these songs, it reminded me of my childhood when my mom and grandma would sing them to me. Now they can do the same for my daughter as well. My family has been singing these songs for generations, which is wonderful to see the author include them. Furthermore, as an Asian American, I can also use the pin yin and English translations (as well as Peipei's voice) throughout the song to help me understand the story and correctly pronounce the words. 3.

When you know you're happy, do you say it in Chinese too? br>Wow! I was blown away by this. With this book, my grandparents and I, as well as my daughter, can sing this song in Chinese! We have been singing it 10x a day in English (because my daughter loves all the movements)! I think Peipei is doing a great job of singing it (via book, actually). My daughter loves that I can even mix it up with a different language so she will be able to hear both versions from me and her grandparents. *B. *B. 3. A good selection of songs promoting family time. I like that the songs emphasize the importance of family, as well as being happy kids. Having the family sit together and enjoy one another's presence when we play this game just inspires us to reconnect as a family. We have made these songs a part of circle time and play time before bed time because she not only loves listening to Peipei sing, but we also sing and dance with her. What a sweet sight it has been to watch! The work of Peipei could go on and on, but I could not possibly communicate how grateful I am for how much time and effort she spent on this book to give my child a bilingual environment that engages everyone and enables them to learn Highly recommend her books and I look forward to seeing what else she has to offer! I am so happy with the preschool my daughter attends. In addition to being the best, it is also an immersion program in Mandarin. The time of COVID did not give my daughter as much chance to learn the language as we would have liked. Although both her parents do not speak Mandarin, she understands the language on a very basic level. The book I purchased from COVID has been one of my best purchases (and I have purchased The book is appealing to me in the following ways I'm

– Even at the age of 2, my daughter can play all the songs by herself. Since she first heard the songs on September 5, she has spent up to half an hour just playing them repeatedly. Please note
I love the sound of those songs Unlike cheesy children's music, this isn't meant for young children. As well as listening to the music, I enjoy reading the text. Furthermore, there is a volume setting for each of the two speakers. Please note
My daughter and I can discuss all the songs when we hear them with their corresponding copies in pinyin (so I can hear the songs phonetically), Chinese characters, and English (so I can understand the context of the song and discuss it with her). Please note
There is a lot of substance to this book, its Toddler abuse isn't an issue with this bag. In the future I can pass it on to the next child who will be able to enjoy it while it is still in good shape when my daughter outgrows it. There is nothing like this book to make you smile My girlfriend and I will purchase it for the classmates who will be celebrating their birthdays soon.

The sound book is amazing. The first one (with the red cover) was a hit with my 2 y. o. daughter, so I bought this one too, and it was just as successful. She could tell right away which buttons would play each song, and the graphic quality is very good. The music and voice are great as well, and she could tell which buttons would play which songs. I find that it helps her develop her vocabulary in a surprising way, given that this is not a language we speak on a regular.

Our first one was such a big hit, we couldn't resist this one as well and it hasn't let us down in the slightest! It is very helpful for a bilingual family of caregivers that speaks only English but can still sing along and not feel left out, as the mix of Western and Chinese children's songs is well done. It is also quite well done to translate the lyrics to Chinese. It is a great toy for children, as the sound volume is manageable and the songs are enjoyable music. This is way better than annoying noise-causing toys. It has only been a day since I began introducing it to my son, and he is already picking up some songs to sing in Chinese (normally a bit less confident to talk Chinese than English).
