Only a portion of the song will be played if the Linkimals are still in the box. They almost always play the entire song once they are completely free of the box. I've bought every Linkimal there is and have had no problems with them, except that my grandson loves them so much that I've had to replace the batteries.

All of the Linkimals are now in our possession. The songs of the penguin are the best. If you only get two, make sure one of them is a penguin.
This is incredibly cute. It's a good size, and when paired with the rest of the collection, it'll make for a fun addition. Small children will love the linkamals.
Pros: It's the same size as the Sloth (one of our favorites), which is ideal, and it moves (much like the Sloth). br>It easily connects with the other Linkimals (we have all 9). br>br>The majority of songs are brief and memorable. However, I only gave it a three-star rating because it does not appeal to my toddler. Why? I have no idea.
We don't have every Linkimal, but the penguin is by far our favorite of the ones we do have, thanks to the adorable voice acting. Our little one is only four months old, but he or she is fascinated by the flashing lights and movement.
" He's only two years old, but he already has a collection of Linkimals. This one, like the sloth, hedgehog, and others, is a "Lead" character Linkimal, and it blends in nicely with the smaller characters like the moose. The best part is that, compared to the first generation of these delightful toys, the vocabulary and number of songs/verses appear to have increased. If you already have a Linkimals fan or want to start one, the penguin is an excellent choice!.
My daughter and I both loved it; it was her favorite. However, it isn't the most durable; my son, who is four, played with it, and it no longer works or moves. If he didn't, the linkimals' ringleader would be singing first.
This was purchased for my three-month-old daughter. She adores him and smiles every time we turn him on. She is enthralled by his presence. When he's on her playmat next to her, she can actually turn him on herself (albeit by accident). My almost 4-year-old son enjoys playing with it and dancing to the songs with her. This little guy is a must-have. It was well worth the expense.
The penguin is the most recent Linkimal to arrive in my 18-month-old's hands, and I wish he'd gotten it sooner! The penguin sings fantastic songs and even raps a little. My son is rough on the Linkimals, but they've held up admirably. I'd definitely purchase a replacement if one were to break. They're fantastic for curious minds in my opinion, and my son enjoys dancing with them as well!.
