It's so great for little ones to have these art books to paint. Having a 1 1/2 year old who puts everything in her mouth and I didn't want to worry about her putting paint from a brush in her mouth, I purchased these for her. The only requirement is that she has a brush and a little water. She can paint the paper, the table, herself, whatever she likes because she's got these supplies. Painting with her older siblings is wonderful for her and she enjoys it very much. The older of my two kids is 5 years old and 20 months old It is also a pleasant surprise for me that 7 enjoy them as well. I really like how cute the pictures are and how varied the offerings are.
Those are the kind of toys my kids love. Their only need is a little water and they are glad to be entertained for a little while. Though the paint isn't easy to peel off of their skin, they are still hard to remove. After they are done painting, their hands and arms usually turn blue or green, but they enjoy being artists so it is okay.
These were purchased for my high school students to use during finals as an activity to relax them. Everything was a big hit with them! As a rehab activity, I used it with patients with dementia as well. The best watercolor brushes are those with soft bristles. They are easy to set up and clean. This is very relaxing to do while you're up.
This is a great item for children.
Paint will not wash off of my child's hands after it has been mixed with water. There is no way to come off of it. There are no statements that state it is nontoxic in the product description. There are concerns in my mind.
I bought these for my daughter, who is six years old. She likes them. As long as I have the paint set, she is able to paint without me having to get it out, which is nice when I am busy. There are a few bleeds between the colors. Still, she gets a gorgeous image, but she also wants it to be more tidy.
They are a favorite of my two-year-old granddaughter. There are a lot of pages in these books and they are inexpensive. Any excess paint water can't end up on the table or floor because we use them in a tray. It would be great if there were more series!.
I actually knew in advance how expensive they were when I purchased them. I think this is a really fun activity for families with kids, but I did find them extremely expensive.
