Questions & Answers

What's the material used to create the pages? At the moment, my daughter enjoys ripping paper pages. It would be fantastic if you could use it for more than one purpose! ?

The pages are made of cardboard, similar to those found in children's board books. They appear to be in good condition. They've been with us for about a year, and my two grandkids adore them. They aren't known for being gentle with their possessions, but this one has managed to survive.

Is there a count of how many books are included in this set?

Overall, there are three books: Animals, the Alphabet, and Numbers are just a few of the subjects covered in this lesson.

Are the pages made of paper or cardboard that has been laminated?

The pages resemble glossy laminated cardboard, and when they dry, the images fade away, allowing you to reuse them again and again.

Is each pen a different color, or does it fill with water and color the entire page, displaying colors that have been pre-set on each page?

Water is to be poured into the pens, and when the water is applied to the pages, the predetermined colors appear.

The old brush can be repaired, making it ideal for car trips
5/5

Traveling with a three-year-old in the car has never been easier. Advantages: br>br>
1. Refillable (all it takes is a little bit of water).
2. When the water dries, the color fades and the surface can be repainted.
3. There's no need to be concerned about messes because it's just water.
4. Other water sources (wet paintbrush, water pen, etc. ) can be used as well.
5. a light weight If it's thrown in the car, it's not a major issue. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
1. After a few hours of use, the book begins to warp and show marks. (In my opinion, it is still very usable. ) )
2. If a young child applies too much pressure to the brush (or chews on it), the brush will splay. br>br>If your brush does get splayed, here's what we did to improve it (photos included):
1. a cup of water that has been brought to a boil
2. Dip the brush in the water for 10 seconds after it has stopped boiling. There are 15 seconds remaining.
3. Wrap the brush tightly and smoothly with a twist tie (use a flat, newer one; wrapping from the center, not the end, is easier).
4. Allow for complete drying time (at least overnight).
5. Unwrap. Overall, I would recommend it. br>br>.

For what the toy is, it is a good value
4/5

For the price, this is a good product. br>We got all three books - Each book came with a water pen, which can be easily reinserted into the book for portability. br>br>I noticed that there were a lot of complaints about the material wearing off quickly - When using a crayon, paintbrush, or marker, most toddlers and preschoolers lack the fine motor skills to press lightly. br>br>Because my granddaughter isn't quite three, we used a soft paintbrush instead of the brush that came with the books. br>br>That was still a little too much pressure, so I just put a soaked sponge in a bowl and told her to press her finger on it and draw on the pictures with her finger. br>br>That worked out perfectly, and she is overjoyed - Every day, he requests the books! br>br>What we discovered is that when flipping each page, it helps to stick a toothpick or something between them to keep them separate when they're wet, and then I stand it on its side accordion-style when she's finished. The style was fanned out to air dry. br>br>At this price, I'd buy them again even if they only lasted three or four months - They're very effective.

What a shock! My three-year-old will sit quietly for 30 minutes and color through a single book
5/5

The photos show how the color turns out, a few painting examples, and the two compartment painter drying (it takes about 15 minutes to dry completely). This is a no-mess activity that is also enjoyable for kids. BUY! BUY! BUY! BUY! BUY.

Color Wonder is a good alternative
5/5

Color Wonder was created by a genius and is a Godsend to parents (as well as walls, furniture, rugs, and other surfaces) all over the world. When you have a child who colors a small portion of the picture (but all over the page) before moving on to the next, those little sheets can add up quickly. This product is ideal in that the color only appears when the water pen is used, and they are reusable. WHAT? To remove the color, simply leave them for a few minutes while the water dries. These are items that my daughters and I both enjoy. They don't have as much variety as Color Wonder, and each book doesn't have as many pages, but you can use them over and over again, making the value incredible! You also won't have to worry about your kids ripping the tops off the markers and causing them to dry out. (Which is more expensive to replace. ) Both parents and children will benefit from this.

These are fantastic
5/5

Multipack for the car, purse, or diaper bag, as well as at home. We have a vehicle that was given to us as a gift by the M-corporation. It's a big hit with L and me. br>br>Since my son (age 2) isn't very good at coloring (yet), he enjoys being able to "scribble" and have a nice picture appear. He enjoys the puzzles as well ("find all the hats"). I like that the "pen" is water, because I can leave him alone for a few minutes while I start the laundry or the dishes and not have to worry about crayon on the walls (ask me how I know). Restaurants will love it as well. There aren't any crayons on the table that are going to roll away. If you color the entire book, the first page is usually dry by the time you get to the end, so they can do it again (and again). br>br>I was so taken with the original that I decided to look for more, and I came across this multipack. PERFECT! I now have one in each car (mine and my husband's), one in my purse or diaper bag, and one at home. He's more interested in picture numbers than letter numbers at the age of two, but I figure he'll "grow into" those as he gets older.

Remove the pens from the equation and replace them with the off-the-shelf items
4/5

ones with a name My son lacks the delicacy necessary to use a soft brush without crushing it and fanning it out. In addition, the casing near the brush is so bulbous that it scratches the pages about a half centimeter from the hole where the brush emerges. With that plastic casing, my son scratched some of the vanishing coating off. I've been trying to teach him gentleness for two weeks, but he's just not ready. br>br>I solved the problem by purchasing knockoff pens from a different brand, which are MUCH easier to use for my son.

I'm in awe of how the colors are coming together
3/5

These water pads are a hit with my 18-month-old, but I doubt they'll last long. My toddler does not yet understand that once a section of the page has been colored, it is time to move on to the next. He simply rubs his water pen back and forth, as any toddler would. Unfortunately, after a few repetitive strokes, the paper begins to rub off, resulting in the rubbed-off areas not returning to a blank canvas (and colored streaks permanently lining the pages). Even more aggravating is the fact that the water does not properly drip down into the pens. I have to squeeze the pen every minute or so to get the water to reach the bristles for my toddler. Nonetheless, my child gets excited whenever I pull out one of these pads, and I'll probably buy another set once he grasps the concept of coloring.
