Selected User Reviews For Melissa & Doug On the Go Water Wow! Reusable Water-Reveal Deluxe Activity Pad – Animal Antics
I adore, adore, adore the Melissa. Doug Water Wow, Doug! They start to warp after only a few uses, and it's beyond frustrating when the colors stick rather than fade for re-use. use. I understand that nothing lasts forever (oh, youth, how I long for you), but I wish these were a little more durable and lasted longer than a month or so after several uses.
They also come with a little holder to store your pen and the red lens, which you can reuse! I think these are a good deal because they are reusable, and my daughter adores them. She will sit quietly and play with them for hours!.
year old! Have a good time Fun set! These are some of my favorite books. They're fantastic at keeping our two-year-old daughter entertained. Keeping our one-year-old occupied while we're out (without making a mess) - I like how the water pen fits into the top compartment so we don't lose it. She enjoys writing with markers and pens (as do we), but I rarely allow her to do so. She believes she is writing/coloring when she uses these books. These books can be used multiple times. I recommend this product, and if you found my review helpful, please mark it. Thank you a lot!.
Pros
- For younger children, the larger version is still ideal. br>- This new version, which features eight larger pages and a red reveal lens, is ideal for entertaining kids who have outgrown the original Water Wow.
- Ideal for appointments or travelbr>- There's no need to be concerned about putting markers in your mouth or coloring your arms, hands, legs, or walls with them. whatever. so it's a little easier to monitorbr>br>Consbr>- The spiral pages will not be able to go behind each other unless they are modified. I cut the top part of the cardboard, which is just the logo and name, after removing the plastic holders for the water pen and red lens.
- You must understand that, like any other coloring book, these will not last indefinitely. We will eventually use them outside with real paint brushes and water because the color will become more difficult to reveal- However, this requires 6 months of consistent use.
It's not giftable because it's not entertaining and the paper wears out too quickly; you can only recolor it three times before the paper starts to fade. When you draw on the pages with the pen, the brush spreads out, increasing the area it touches on the page, making it feel like you're coloring with a paper towel. This isn't fun, and it doesn't feel like coloring with a pen. br>It also comes with the lid off. Perhaps other customers have noticed this product's flaw. This item is also NOT FOR TRAVELING because the pen requires water, but because it is a brush, the water will quickly run out, requiring you to refill it every half or a page.
2) during the Christmas season. They adore the "magic lens," and momma adores the fact that there is no mess. I thought the brushes should have been sturdier, but since these were intended for children over the age of two, the two-year-old smashed his brush too hard and it's now sprawled out; it still seeps water out, so it's not a big deal. Overall, they are ideal for travel and are simple to open, dry, and reuse. The little plastic covers for the brush and lens didn't last long with rough and tumble boys, so I tied a piece of yarn to it and tied it to the spiral binding to keep it from getting lost.
As my children grow older, the other Water Wows lose their allure. These were ideal: it was fun to find silly things on each page, the pages were larger overall, and there were decoder spots to find things that couldn't be seen otherwise; there were many different levels of fun, and they kept my kids occupied for a long time! They keep coming back to them!.
I ordered this book for my daughter because she used to enjoy the regular Water Wow books, and she was particularly excited about this one because it is aimed at children aged 5 and up! The hard plastic where the pen goes broke, which was a disappointment because that small holder is useful for keeping the water pen in place when it is not in use! Apart from that, she enjoyed the book and wishes to read it again and again; the three stars are due to the fact that it was damaged!.
