One of the products I like most is this one. Kids stay occupied and virtually no mess is made when they travel with it. Being a therapist working with kids from birth to age 12 could be quite challenging 3. These pens are used for teaching children about different animals, colors, and so on. However, they do not last forever, so I have to buy new ones every now and then. There is only one outline of the animal in this water wow set the rest comes to life as you color it. Unlike most water wow sets, this set has only the outline of one animal. As a result, the kids don't play with this set as often, and they communicate less when they do. I'll stick to the other sets next time.
My three year old loves them. A huge advantage of him "painting" these pictures over and over again is the fact that he can do it over and over again. When using any product that uses water, the moisture tends to leak into places you don't want it to - namely the area where the brush holder is located on the tablet cover. I still rate this product five stars despite those shortcomings. To fix the leaky brushes, you would have to wait until you actually need them before filling them, but that's not super convenient on a road trip.
Water is the only color you need! The right amount of time has passed between drying them. Not too long and not too short. The pace should not be Depending on the amount of water that my toddler grandson soaks, I'll be able to reuse the book in about an hour. While it looks pretty blank when you first start coloring it, the image that you end up with is a detailed picture with surprises as you paint with water, such as flowers, bugs and plants. That there's a place to put the pen/brush between uses to avoid losing it is very nice. The product is fantastic!.
Melissa and Doug seem to be hit and miss on quality. There's no denying this one was a They are very popular with a few of my friends. The pages were all scratched up by the time we used the book a second time. I am quite surprised how poorly it holds up! Until it is no longer useful, it can be used The fact that it scratches easily annoys me even more than the fact that I spent a lot of money on it. This is the last time I will buy these.
I love it and my toddler loves it too. In the event that you do not take proper care of the pictures, they will scratch. It's common sense that the cardboard tends to bubble after being used over 70 times, but I did notice that with my other water pad from Melissa and Doug.
We used it as an activity for our 14-month-old baby. I think it kept her active for a good period of time. The only thing that could be improved is when the color shows up between when she soaked the page and when the marker went on. Honestly, it's just a few seconds, but with a toddler, they don't seem to understand that it's okay to wait a second to see the "work" they have done.
The fact that this is reusable is great! There has been much use of it. I really like the way water can produce an effect similar to that of a colored picture! We had some ink leakage from our pen, so I took off a star only for that reason. Perhaps this is just a dud after all?.
I would recommend this to anyone who needs to keep their toddler occupied and entertained on a trip. When she squeezed the water out of the pen, she just spat on the brush since she had a hard time squeezing it out. The taste is gross, but I can live with it. Seeing how many scratches she has already made on the white film that starts showing up when wet, I realized that her pages would not last for a long time.
