Their chemical composition does not seem toxic to me. The smell is not very strong, but the smell is associated with fruits. This brand of markers is one of my kids' favorites

As soon as I received my 22 new anchor chart markers, I was over the moon. I was so sad to see that 7 markers were missing from what was on the package.
My poor little teacher heart was so upset! In my pictures, you can see for yourself. On the back of the box is a chart of the markers that are included in the package compared to the chart guide on the front and I've lined up the 5 extra neon markers that aren't part of the pack. My next attempt to achieve this will hopefully Although disappointed, I am still happy. It is going to take me some time to draw my anchor charts.

It was so exciting for me to get these and use them with my two boys, but I have to say that the scent is not strong on a few, and almost nonexistent on a few of them. It is nothing like it used to be when I was a child. The update left me feeling disappointed.
The scents of the past aren't as strong and true. When I bought them, I intended to use them for a 'use your senses' lesson, but they were a big disappointment because the scent is more like a marker than orange or grape I still plan to use them, even though they are a little bummer.
This is a great set of markers for me and my kindergartener! I love finding these kinds of things. The items arrived in the mail just in time for his distance learning to begin during the quarantine. They certainly made his day when they arrived, and he's more enthusiastic about doing his work since receiving them.
