Even for an adult, I've found that coloring with these markers is difficult because the color doesn't appear right away, making it appear as if you aren't coloring at all. But after a few seconds, it reappears. It's difficult to color when you can't see the color while you're applying it.
These magic markers are perfect for toddlers who are just learning to color or who want to make a trail of destruction. They only write on the paper and make coloring seem like "magic" to the child as the colors appear and to the parent as there is no mess! We got this for my daughter's birthday because she likes blues clues - The variety of scenes and marker colors in the kit were a big hit with us. We docked one star because the pages are loose and individual, which may be a plus for some, but we found it difficult to keep track of and contain all of them once the package was ripped open. If you keep the package intact when opening it, you might be able to use it for that. I would definitely recommend it, and it would make a wonderful gift!.
For my two-year-old, this is ideal. She wants to color like her older siblings, but she usually uses regular markers to color all over her face and clothes. These are fantastic at preventing messes!.
My two-year-old enjoys coloring, and I appreciate that she doesn't have to use markers. It's great for traveling and will keep your kids occupied for a long time; it's also a good value for the money. It's also a great gift idea for the artist in your life.
To be honest, for the price of these color wonder sets, you'd think they'd at least come in a bound book.
This is perfect for our 18-month-old son. It kept him occupied for hours without requiring him to watch television, and it was ideal for a plane ride. The only problem was that we ordered Blue's Clues but received Nursery Rhymes instead. Because he's so young, he didn't mind, but there is a price difference, and Blue's Clues cost more.
This activity, like most toddler activities, may not last 30 minutes, but it may last 10 minutes. My son prefers to use markers and the various colors that he chooses over an activity pad that is activated by water and displays the color underneath. We have quite a few of these Crayola ones, and they are always a hit!.
I'm not going to bother returning it because of the timing and the fact that he can still color it, but I'm disappointed that I received the wrong product; he would have been thrilled with Blues Clues, and this will be far less so.
