IS GOING TO STAIN EVERYTHING. The product "crayola washable markers" appears in the search results, and the description implies that they are part of the fantastic Crayola Washable product line. br>THEY ARE NOT. They will stain children's faces, hands, clothes, and furniture, as well as anything else that comes into contact with a stray marker. br>I'm not sure what the point of having markers that do that is, especially since the technology for easily washable markers already exists. I overpaid for this massive set, thinking it was part of the washable line, to share with several organizations. I was enraged.

As a kindergarten teacher, I'm always on the lookout for high-quality supplies that can withstand a lot of use, and these markers pass the test in all of the above categories, with the exception of the fact that the ink runs out so quickly! My students fly through them, and that's with the markers being properly cared for and treated. I kept a small box of each color to use as an example, and I've only used each marker about four times for small coloring projects, and they're already losing their vibrant color! Maybe I'm being naive, but I was a little let down. I really like the color scheme, and the packaging is sturdy and functional.

In any case, I bought these for the classroom and they're fantastic. I thought it was great that they included a bunch of clear extra caps in case the kids misplaced them, chewed on them, or used some other magic to make them vanish. It's almost as if someone at Crayola has a clue about what they're doing.

The markers are fantastic, and my students have had a lot of fun with them. The only problem was that neither black nor yellow markers were included in my box. Why? I'm not sure. There were two teal markers and two magenta markers in my box. I'm not too bothered about it, I suppose, because the students can get away with not having those colors. But it was amusing, especially since the item's photo shows those colors.

We ordered the class pack of markers, and after reading some of the reviews, I attempted to cancel my order because I was concerned that I would receive a bunch of little black tubes, as other reviewers had stated, and that the item would not be as pictured. br>br>It was too late to change my mind, and the markers had already arrived. I double-checked them and found them to be exactly as described, which made me very happy. We bought this for our little girl's class, and the teacher gushed about the class pack of markers, calling it "a teacher's dream!" br>br>As for the price, I'm pleased with it - It's less expensive than Target or Office Max.

The only drawback is that snapping the caps back on can be a real pain at times. They get halfway closed, so kids assume they're done with them and return them to the box. This is a significant disadvantage for a teacher. However, I was grateful that they included a few clear caps for caps with legs!.

These markers have proven to be extremely useful. They do not dry out and last a long time. Storage is a breeze.
