These are the genuine article. br>br> My students enjoy having the variety of colors to use for skin tones because there are 24 of them. They will ask for them if I forget to put them out on drawing days. They take pride in being able to depict true skin tones accurately.
It's disappointing that I can get a 24-pack of regular Crayola crayons for $. 50, but these colors, which encourage inclusivity, are only $2. There are 25 in each pack.
These would be fantastic in a classroom setting. My kindergarten students had a lot of fun figuring out which crayons matched their skin tone and which ones matched their classmates'. Naturally, not every skin tone is represented, but we discussed pressing harder to make the color darker and pressing lighter to make it lighter. Great lesson on how beautiful people of all skin tones are.
