Yes, it's preferable to playdoh. However, it dries in an unusual manner, almost "puffy." In addition, the internal clay remains damp. It starts to smell a little icky.
It's the first time they've ever sent me something like this. This yellow box is labeled "Sago Brothers Magic Clay," and everything on it is written in English. The other box is white, and everything inside is written in Chinese or Japanese. All of my previous orders were white and in a foreign language when I went back to look at them. I hope that this information is useful.
If you want clay that bakes hard, you should use polymer clay, which is designed for children and crafts. When completely dry, it retains its "squishy" texture.
Yes, the molds, but the consistency is a little different, so I'm not sure if the tools that press the clay through will work. If you already have some, such as the play doh fun tub, you can use them. It should be enjoyable for the children. I'm going to order another kit as a result of your reminder.

For one thing, it's gluten-free, which is significant given that its main competitor, Crayola's product, contains wheat. We also have allergies to dairy, egg, soy, peanuts, and some tree nuts, but the clay has never caused us any problems. It's light and airy, with a pillowy soft feel to it. It even has a cool sensation when you touch it, and it's a lot of fun to mess around with! My only criticism is that it doesn't always stick together well, necessitating the use of toothpicks (cut in half) to attach body parts or the application of glue to the parts that fall off. Also, be cautious about where you leave them to dry, as we've had them stick to our windowsill and leave a residue. Of course, this was only because my 4-year-old pressed them against the sill a little, so it was entirely his fault. So that's something to keep in mind - Place on a flat surface to dry for a while. One thing I'd like to see more of is white and black. Only one white, one black, and one gray are present in the box. Because white is so widely used, it is the first to wear out, and it is not available separately. This particular clay is more expensive, but it's well worth it because I know it's safe for my boys' food allergies and we've had good results so far. We would buy it again and recommend it to others without hesitation.
This set has wowed me, and my children are loving it. To begin with, the set includes a wide variety of clay colors. Each color comes in a variety of hues. It also includes some tools for cutting and manipulating the clay. There's a book with a lot of different ideas in it, and it gives very clear and simple instructions on how to make some really cool things. br>br>The clay itself is extremely soft and easy to work with, almost like foam. If you leave it out, it will dry quickly, so keep it in a sealed bag or container. Adding a small amount of warm water to the clay will soften it again. br>br>At home, we make a lot of slime and usually use air soft clay to turn it into butter slime, which is my favorite type of slime. We tried some of this clay and it worked perfectly. The butter slime turned out just as well, if not better, than it did with other clays. Overall, it is a must-have clay set for children. There's a lot you can do with it, and the clay is reusable. It was well worth the money spent.
So this clay is very different from the clay I'm used to working with when it dries it's like foam very lightweight it dries quickly so you have to keep a water bowl next to it while you're working with it and that's fine I'm used to that it's definitely for more plush things you don't get those hard lines and a quick tip if you're making a keychain use hot glue when putting in the needle after it dries it makes a.
This clay brings me great joy. My children could spend all day playing with these. They are a light, smooth clay with no odor. There are many colors in one set, and it only costs $15, making it a better value than Playdon.
We chose this brand because of the color selection and included tools, which I'm glad we did. This isn't modeling clay because it doesn't harden into a breakable texture. It hardens but retains its softness, similar to that of a soft foam. It worked perfectly for the teeth because I was working on a Book of Monsters. The tools were useful, and I appreciated that the company included bags in which to transfer opened clay, as the bags are not resealable once opened. I particularly appreciated and am grateful for the fact that it is non-profit. toxic. My dog is a master thief and recently stole a pack from us. Knowing that this product is non-toxic gave us peace of mind. toxic. Although this was not a gift, it does come in a giftable box, and I believe we will order another for a future birthday. (This isn't a complaint; however, you should test your work surface. ) My son smashed his ball against a cardboard box that we were using to keep our table clean. It didn't stick to the table, but it did stick to the cardboard, which I couldn't get off completely.
We had a great time as a group! I had a lot of fun making different figures with the kids and all the other things we did. What was even better was that both my 12-year-old and 4-year-old children thoroughly enjoyed using it, and it was something they could do together. It's difficult to find activities that are both safe and enjoyable for them to do together, but this was one of them. Even the adults were encouraged to participate in the activity. There aren't many things we can do that are both cheap and don't require us to be outside in the scorching Florida sun during the summer, so this was a great indoor activity for everyone. The quality is excellent, and anything that stimulates the imagination is well worth purchasing again.
