Questions & Answers
No, the rolling pin is not independent of the handles. Rolls up into a single solid piece.
For that price, you get all 5 tools, plus a plastic bag.
International shipping is available through USPS, but it is very costly.
It doesn't work like that at all. There are, however, two cookie-related issues to consider. Tools of the cutter type (one straight and one with a zigzag). These will make a design if you press lightly, but if you press harder, the playdough will be cut. Another set came in a yellow bag and included some mini playdough cans as well as some tools; That one had scissors, but for my 3-year-old, I don't think it was necessary. These tools are much larger and easier to use than they were a year ago, and they can also be used for cutting.

I've read a lot of reviews claiming that the rolling pin is useless. If you try to use it as a regular kitchen rolling pin, you'll see what I mean. This one, on the other hand, requires only that you keep your hands flat in order to use it properly; see the video for a demonstration. This set is ideal for experimenting with and playing with Play-Doh. Doh.
The fact that the rolling pin didn't roll irritated some parents, so I read the reviews. "What's the big deal?" I thought at first. What difference does it make anyway? "Then, after receiving it, I realized that having a rolling pin with non-rolling handles is pointless. I threw it out and kept all of the other useful items. It was a source of frustration for both myself and the children. I can't believe I'm taking the time to write about this at all - Parents, on the other hand, are responsible for their children's behavior.
The "Dough Tools" are a big hit with the kids. I bought them for the roller, but the cutters are also great for kids (they require less effort than plastic hand press cutters). However, I was disappointed that the roller does not have a separate handle (which means you have to turn the entire thing). This isn't a deal breaker, but it's a letdown, so this product loses a star from me, but my kids still enjoy the tools.
These are excellent tools for children to use when working with play dough or any other type of dough. They're both strong and colorful. Excellent craftsmanship. The only problem I have is that the rolling pin is static, which means you can't hold on to the sides like a real rolling pin and try to keep them still while moving the center spool. I had hoped that this rolling pin would function similarly to a real one, and that I could use it to teach my daughter how to use a larger one, but the center spool does not move as smoothly as I had hoped. That is the only criticism I have!.
The quality feels great, and I think they'll hold up well to kids having fun with them. He's four, so they're just a smidge too big for his grip. in my opinion He, on the other hand, handled and used them as if they were nothing.
It has been well-loved and frequently used, and it is still in excellent condition. However, the Playground now has three children. Instead of a single table, there is a Doh table. There aren't enough rolling pins. I was so pleased with the first set that I purchased two more. br>br>I'd classify these as high-school level. I did buy a couple of cheap rolling pins, but the kids always ask for the one that came with this set. It's well-made.
They're also great for baking cookies with. Her hands are the perfect size for it. We bought a roll of cookie dough, and I handed it over to her to roll and cut. Tools with a lot of weight to them.
Rather than being crafting tools, they are more akin to toys. I would not purchase again because they appear to be toys rather than serious crafting tools for children. But it's enough to spark their imagination, and honestly, most of us have items in our kitchens that would suffice.
