Containers for playing- I've never seen anything so small for this brand. It's not a big deal because the rest of the set is sturdy, but the pictures are misleading when it comes to the set's most important feature.
The playdough, on the other hand, is contained in the small containers. I would have been satisfied with the purchase if it had not been for the fact that it was not in my budget. The small containers are quickly depleted of their contents. As a birthday present, it's not too shabby. However, this was designed to be used on a regular basis in a therapy office. Because it's made of flour, playdough isn't gluten-free.
I'm glad I got it, though. This is for my great niece, and I bought it for her. I was surprised by the small amount of play dough that came with it. I purchased a large jumbo package of play doh (small, medium, and large). Even the so-called "large" in this package is quite small. Back when I was a kid (early 1970s), a large was actually a LARGE. Then, in the 1980s, I bought a variety pack for my niece. The LARGE was just that: LARGE. Each color in the current version is insufficient to make one of the cutouts included in the package. I'm glad I got it, though. I'm sure it'll still be enjoyable for my great niece.
