This is a great place to start. doh set! It comes with four different color options for you to choose from. oh, and there are a slew of "tools" to employ. The tools are just the right size for small hands! My son has no trouble rolling out the play-doh with the roller. So he can cut it into different shapes with the cutters. This is a great set to have with you when you're on the road. All of the tools fit neatly into a sandwich-sized bag, are easy to transport, and take up little space when being used. br>br>If I had to dock half a star, it would be for the scissors. My son's little hands find it difficult to open and close them, much less use them to "cut. " I tried them out as well while playing with the set with him, and even I found it difficult to use for what it was designed for. Even so, it's only one of the items in the entire set with which I have a minor quibble. However, it still has the ability to "cut" the play-through. oh, and I don't have to worry about my son getting hurt while using it, so I gave it five stars instead of four.
This set is a big hit with my 18-month-old daughter. She wants to play with it every evening when she gets home from school. She adores the small tools because they are just right for her tiny hands. I have so many fond memories of playing with play dough as a kid, and I am thrilled that she will as well. What's not to like about play doh? It's simple to clean and encourages imagination.

I was just looking for some simple cookie cutter playdoh toys. This was the only set I could find that included multiple tools for less than ten dollars. Overall, it's everything I wanted, plus extra playdoh, so it gets five stars for the set and price. However, in terms of quality control, it isn't perfect, and the scissors, as others have pointed out, are useless. Why would you want to give someone scissors that don't cut well and easily break? In addition, the playdoh containers are smaller than expected, measuring about the same height as my thumb, and I have small hands. It wasn't a deal breaker for me because I only wanted the cookie cutters, but it was something to keep in mind. They might be able to provide images that are more accurate.

This is a fantastic piece of writing. Start your child off right with a Doh set. Except for the scissors, every piece is fantastic. My daughter is only two years old, so we sit with her and help her keep an eye on everything while also showing her how to craft, cut, and so on. The scissors are fine if used slowly and gently, but they snap together and separate when my child tries to cut. It's not difficult to fix, but she insists on having me cut things with them because she can't do it well herself. I'm sure older kids will figure out how to keep them from unsnapping, but even with caution, it only takes a small amount of effort to slip or push too hard, causing them to separate again.
