It isn't a frivolous query. My mother has celiac disease, and she has become ill as a result of residue left on a table after my son played with Play-Doh. Doh. After we've played with this for a while, we've established a strict cleaning routine. Please don't bring it near gluten-free people, and don't let your children play with it in restaurants. It is not necessary for sensitive people to consume it in order to be affected.
It's stated on the package, I believe.

BUYING IS A MISTAKE. AN EXCESSIVE WASTE OF MONEY. When I first opened the box, I couldn't believe what I saw. These are extremely small items. Before making a purchase, I should have read other reviews. With a container this small, there's not much a child can do except mix it in with the others. Play dough is simply using this as a marketing ploy. I can't believe I squandered my funds on something like this. DO NOT BUY THIS. You will be sorry.
I'm amazed at how many stars this has. For real? Containers are ridiculously small. I'm not sure they could get any smaller, to be honest. These containers are so small that you'd think they're samples rather than a paid product. Save your $8 and go to Wal-Mart instead. For $, go to Mart and get a larger tub. 50/each. It's a better deal, and the kids will be able to use it.
I didn't think I needed a review, so I didn't think it was necessary. The following are the sizes of party favors. I'm a teacher, and I bought these for a classroom center, but I'll have to buy more because they're WAY too small. Every time we get it out and play with it, I spend a half hour cleaning up hundreds of tiny beads of play doh. Some of you are probably thinking to yourself, "You're doing it wrong," and I believe you are correct. As a parent, I make more mistakes than I get right, and I'm probably failing at play doh. The stuff, on the other hand, is a ton of fun. It was one of my favorite toys as a kid, and the smell transports me back to my own childhood every time my children open a new can of it. Play-Doh was never a part of my grandson's upbringing. I didn't know if he'd like it at first, so I figured we'd start small. (Wait a minute, what was I thinking?) He was ecstatic. br>These 2 oz. bottles are ideal for a toddler. cans. They're just the right size for little hands and have the right amount of Play-Doh. doh. I also prefer the smaller cans because they are more portable. I can't imagine handing a toddler ten full-size cans and telling him to do whatever he wants with them, but that's exactly what you can do with these. I just bought a 10 pack of them. because after making dinosaurs and letting them harden before playing with them, we've finally run out of dinosaurs. )br>Participate in the game. Every child's childhood should include doh!.
Details should always be read. The playdoh jars were delivered by mail. I'm dissatisfied, to put it that way. These were ordered for our child's back-to-school list, but they are TINY. They appeared to be of average size to us. I suppose I should have done more research before purchasing. We will, however, return them. These are perfect if you're looking for small jars for individual use, but they're not what we were looking for! They arrived in good condition, so they're ideal for those looking for small Easter baskets.
Doh. I didn't read the part about the 2 ounce cans, either. I simply assumed it was the regular-sized cans of the good stuff that I see at Wal-Mart. Mart for 88 cents and snatched it up, especially since this set is a "best seller" on Amazon. I'm going to give it three stars because of the Play- There was nothing wrong with Doh when it arrived, it was very fresh. So three stars because "it's okay," but I'm not going to give it four because I don't "like" it. Those who play games.
The number of different colors is the only advantage of these. I was dissatisfied with the container size, which was extremely small. I could have purchased full-sized containers from Wal-Mart. It would have been a better deal if Mart had sold them for 50 cents each. I may not have gotten ten different colors, but that wouldn't have mattered as much because there was a good selection.
