Questions & Answers
Because this is a Christmas present, I am unable to respond. Sorry!
My husband filed the small catch down, making it much easier to open.
On the one we have, the molds slide out, and my grandchildren adore it. One of the most adorable play-by-plays I've ever seen. I've seen a lot of doh sets.
Everything you see in the picture is included.

5 stars. br>br>This item is a big hit with my almost-3-year-old. I haven't even put the batteries in yet, and she already loves the oven, play dough, and baking utensils! Advantages: br>br> br>•will keep kids of all ages entertainedbr>•comes with 6 small playdough containers perfect for food varietybr>•Love the variety of foods. Options for "making" (using play dough to conform to the molds) directly in the oven are available. br>br>Cons: br>• The oven is depicted on the box as having colorful "buttons. " I looked everywhere for the buttons, thinking that my box didn't have everything I needed. I realized those "buttons" were play dough after comparing my items to the picture. Perhaps it was just me, but I thought that was a little misleading. br>• the oven could have been larger for easier storage of all the parts (or a bag could have been included to store both the play dough and the utensils)br>• the large star, heart, and yellow rugged circle could have been omitted. They appear out of place and misaligned with the baking theme. br>•difficult to align baking dish with oven's "tray" (the items will not "bake" properly if misaligned). •br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•br>•batteries are not includedb.
As a result, I went through two of them. We couldn't get the red light or the ding to work consistently on the first one. I returned one and replaced it with another. We were also unable to work on the second one. It turns out that you have to keep your hand on the handle for a few seconds before the light turns red and the doorbell rings. There were no such instructions in the box. Until we figured it out, my 2-year-old was extremely frustrated. Especially since it was from Santa and we had to ship the first one back to him in order for the second one to be "delivered" by him on our fireplace one night. Mommy was irritated as well! It's adorable now that we know how to use it, but the lack of instructions cost me a star.
This is fantastic! This oven has been a lot of fun for my granddaughter and me. The Play-Doh pans fit into the oven, and when a child presses the side lever, the Play-Doh comes to life. As it "cooks," doh rises through the openings. There's even a light that turns on while the food is cooking and a bell that sounds when the "baked goods" are ready. It's one of the best Play-Based Learning programs available. I've purchased the most Doh toys in my life. It is something I strongly suggest.
Both of our 1 1/2-hour sessions year- and three-year-old year- This game is a hit with both young and old sons. doh set. They've been playing with it every day since they received it on Christmas Day, and it's kept them occupied for quite some time. It even comes with a little oven for them to "bake" their creations. When you pull the lever, the inside of the oven turns red, as if it's heating up, and then it makes a DING sound when it's finished. It's very cute, and our sons adore it. It also includes a number of molds and a variety of color play-dough. a fork, knife, rolling pin, and plate, to name a few. If your children enjoy playing, this is a great option for them. This set will be a big hit with them.
My daughter, who was almost three years old at the time, was the recipient of this purchase. I believe she is still too young for it, though her 63-year-old grandmother was less than impressed: ) Many of the shape molds are simply too small and too close together to produce useful results. It's a cute concept, but the actual location appears to be better suited for older children who want to create realistic-looking food creations. It was simply too complicated for my toddler, despite his extremely long attention span.
This was a gift for my three-year-old daughter. year- His first Play-Doh was when he was eight years old, and he was preparing for Christmas Doh ever. I wasn't sure if this would appeal to him because he enjoys building and creating things, but it won out over all of his other presents. He enjoys both alone and with us playing with it. His fine motor skills are still developing, so it's definitely something that requires parental involvement for a young child to have the most fun (and to ensure they don't eat it), but he enjoys it. It included a variety of small tools and accessories for preparing various foods, as well as a large quantity of Play-Doh. Doh, and the range of colors is ideal.
My daughter is a huge fan of playdoh and was overjoyed to receive this present. When you make the "pie," it lights up and makes noises. My only complaint is that she is three and had trouble getting the pie mold to slide on the track inside the oven, but she loved it otherwise. Also, I thought they made press pies so you could take the playdoh out and it would look like a cake or pie, but no, it just pushes the playdoh into the mold and comes out the sides of the mold, so you don't get a pie, you just get imprints. On top of that, there are molds for making various pretend pie accessories.
We have a bookcase with two large shelves where playdoh sets are stored in their boxes. One of the most frequently used sets is this one. This is my second purchase of this set, and I'm writing this review for the second time. A little two-year-old girl came to visit us and spent hours playing with this set; we had a lot of fun "cooking" together. She was enthralled by the alarm clock and timer. She was so taken with it that I had to purchase a set for her to take home. There's a reason why Playdoh has been around for so long. Excellent toys that are well-made and affordable.
