No, it's just various colored clay pieces. It is not necessary to keep it in a bucket. It will maintain its shape as long as it is kept away from hot surfaces.
With prolonged use, the color bleeds onto hands, but it washes right off, and our white table was left untouched. It is a big hit with our daughter.
Playdoh texture is softer than this. To soften it up, you'll need to work with it in your hands a little.
I'm not sure what materials it's made of, but it's non-toxic, according to the manufacturers. It's poisonous and has no chemical odor. It was created in China. so. who knows

Our 4 year old son LOVES this packbr>br>I cut the clay into 4 strips, give him 8/1 strip of each color each time he wants to play with clay, and it keeps him occupied for hoursbr>br>It is also the best bang for your buckbr>br>Dollar General used to sell this in a tiny pack with 10 tiny strips for $1 and our Son REALLY LOVED thosebr>br>I REALLY HOPE It's worth itbr>br>To me, his smile makes it ALL WORTH ITbr>br>With this clay, the possibilities are endlessbr>br>.
To be honest, I think the kids I'm going to use it with will enjoy it, but here's why I didn't give it five stars.
1. There are no handles on the container and it is not resealable. br>2. Because the box has cutouts to display the colors, it's pretty useless as a storage container. Considering that the container factor was a big part of why I bought this set in the first place, I'm a little disappointed. br>In addition, I agree with the reviewer who stated that the cardboard in the middle of the box makes it appear as if there is more inside than there actually is.
It does leave a trace of pigment on your hands, but it washes right off - Simply be cautious when it comes to your clothes.
This product is fantastic; I bought it for my kids who usually play with playdoh, which dries out quickly. That is not the case with this stuff. They enjoy being able to play with it, and I enjoy the fact that if it is left out overnight, it will not be dry the next morning. There's no need to waste money! In addition, the clay's consistency is much harder, and my son adores how well it holds up when he's forming new creations. This is a significant amount of money. I was able to obtain this at a significantly lower cost than I could have found elsewhere. It has eight colors, which is a significant improvement over the standard four-color pack.
Shipping was very quick. Packaging that is not recyclable. The packaging's entire middle slot is bare. Despite the fact that it has the capacity to hold three additional packages. Only 6 small packages (6 different colors) are included in the package. Despite the fact that the packaging can hold nine people, I believe it would have been worthwhile if I had gotten a 9, and I would have given a more favorable review. However, because I only received 6 pks when the packaging clearly states that it holds 9, I believe it is a waste; additionally, if I had received 9 it would have been worth the price; however, receiving only 6 in the package makes it too expensive for what you receive. In my opinion, it is overpriced for what you get.
It is extremely popular with the children. The oil, on the other hand, makes me sick and is extremely difficult to clean up.
Playdoh has always been a favorite of my grandchildren. It appears that I have given them truckloads of it. It is eventually dried out. I figured I'd give this clay a shot because it wouldn't have that issue. Because it is extremely hard, you must work with it to soften it. Because it leaves a residue on your hands, make sure to thoroughly wash them afterward. The colors are vibrant, but the stiffness seemed to take away from the fun of playing with it. Playdoh has a distinct advantage over other types of modeling clay.
I was very excited to receive this clay because it came in a large quantity and at a reasonable price. However, it is as solid as a rock. Definitely not for kids; I couldn't do much with it and had to throw it out, much to the dismay of my children. I assumed it was non-returnable because we had opened it.
