There is a capacity of 2 boards on the FreshTrack 4. You would need the FreshTrack 6 to hold 4 boards.
There is a large range of adjustments available on this system. The fit was good on both crossbars I tried it on, so I'm sure it will fit on your Rav4. I've used it on 2 different crossbar sizes and I was able to adjust it to fit both.
To remove your skies, all you have to do is press a button. A picture of the release button can be found in the description along with this information. Even when wearing gloves, it is very simple to do. A complete rack removal requires a considerable amount of time and effort.

The roof rack on our Sienna van fits on the factory roof rack with ease. It did the job for my trip to Winter Park, Eldora, and Steamboat. It fits four sets of skis (2 adults, 2 kids) with a bit of room to spare, so if you are using 3-piece skis, I would expect that it will fit three. There are four sets of skis for adults. An honest thief could not get into these locks, but I would not leave them out overnight anywhere where a rogue might try to steal them. When you've just returned from skiing, it's a relief to have some space inside the car and not have the snow and ice melt in there.
There is no way of knowing if the others failed due to an "operator error", but I didn't want to take the chance, so I spent more. When the racks were mounted, the locks worked smoothly, and there was no noise at all when the racks were on, with or without skis. My wife and I just drove several hundred miles (each way) (mostly on the freeway (up to 85 mph)) and they worked really well.
A total of five In it, it said it was intended for four skis or two snowboards. This is not a scenario that can be applied to two snowboards. The situation is quite infuriating to me.
Performs the function it was designed to do. The assembly and installation is easy. Out of the box, it took 20 minutes. The rack installs easily onto a Sportrack roofrack. It is best to have locks and racks that open and close easily. This is a great.
I really like the way it works. I gave it one star because it was extremely difficult to install. Because my crossbars are thicker than most, I think that is the reason.
I am very happy with the results. They are so high above the cross bars that I could only give them a 4. There is a part of me that wishes I had spent the extra $60.
Snowboards are supposed to fit inside of this product 2 boards cannot be held together because of the narrow width. The return will take place.
The contents of the box have already been opened when the product was received. It's obvious that this is a returned product that's been restocked I have mailed. A number of parts are missing The installation or use of the product is not possible.
