a number of parts are missing I'm a professional computer consultant, and the Zosi camera I ordered on Amazon has left me disappointed. With this type of product, I was attempting to do a favor for a client by saving them some money. It hasn't gone as planned. br>br> It didn't come with a BNC to RCA connector, which was a huge disappointment. I had to order it separately, which cost $7 and took another four days. br>* I just realized the camera didn't come with a 12V power adapter today! What are you talking about? One can be seen in the image! br>br>I'm in a lot of pain. When will you be able to send me a 12V power adapter, vendor? On Amazon, I'll leave the same comment. A single female/female RCA coupler, a male/male RCA coupler, and a BNC to female adapter should all be included. Do this and add $5 to your bill.
- br>br>In the meantime, the manual is missing the technical specifications. sigh. Purchasing shoddy goods with shoddy documentation is extremely discouraging. br>br>I assume it's 12V? How many amps are you talking about? br>br>Vendor, what should I do now?.

I bought six of these a few years ago and they're fantastic, so when I needed two more to replace some older cameras, I went back to Amazon and ordered two more. The ones that arrived were a complete waste of time, with screws stripped out, plastic parts, cheap metal, and a general lack of quality. The older models were all metal and had very nice hand-adjustable swivels. When a company's standards change, it's a shame. br>I also checked, and the same model number is stamped on both, so you'd think they're the same.

This camera was purchased to replace a burned-out camera. This is a newer model with an inline switch for turning on and off the camera as well as switching between four different format modes. The image quality is excellent, even better than the cameras that came with it. The inline switch was the only issue I ran into when replacing the camera. The hole that needed to be enlarged to pass the switch through the wall had to be enlarged from the original installation. To accommodate the enlargement of the passage hole, additional trips into the attic and onto the roof were necessary. The video quality, on the other hand, is well worth the changes in installation.

I was blown away by the clarity of the video. This is a laundromat sign that is mounted on the outside. This video camera appears to be from the photos attached. It had to be painfully obvious, so that everyone could see it. The video camera, on the other hand, is located on the far edge of the siding and blends in perfectly. It is, in fact, an ideal location. It's out of the weather, and the outside fluorescent lights provide enough light for nighttime to appear as daylight. The police investigated our DVR footage after a robbery at the Dollar General across the street. Unfortunately, the outside video camera was not available at the time. Perhaps this will be useful to them in the future. This camera is used to count the number of customers who have parked in front of the restaurant. The video is exceptionally well-produced. Even at night, we can see the traffic on the main street up the hill going back and forth. I bought two rolls of 40' wire to run along the back wall to connect the video camera, and it was just enough. Because the wire is so light, it's kept in a conduit. The wire would be corroded in a year if not for the hot sun and ice, and the laundry customers have no complaints about the video cameras in and out. They are well aware that it is for their safety.

Night vision is poor. The camera can't be moved from side to side, but it can be moved up and down. What you'll see is a straight line parallel to the wall. As a result, you couldn't see the photographer in the photo I attached because the camera was aimed to the side. This would be fine for a driveway, but not for a front porch. br>br>The daytime view is fine, and the nighttime view was fine at first. However, the infrared lights have burned out, and the camera now relies on street lighting, which is insufficient and certainly not what you pay for. br>br>Last but not least, the 4- It's difficult to get the thing to work because of the way button. I had to call for a working picture because the instructions were so bad.

I set up the camera and hooked it up to a Night Owl analog DVR. It was very bright at night, almost to the point of being too bright. Then, after a few days, it abruptly lost all of its radiance. I tried using the reset function to stop it from changing, but it only worked for a short time. br>br>I contacted customer service because the manual contains no useful information about the OSD (on-screen display) and only a few screen shots. Then customer service got a little snarky with me, telling me that the problem was my lack of knowledge about my DVR. My dvr, on the other hand, is a night-vision device from the 1980s. owl, and it has nothing to do with a camera configuring any of the dvr's controls. This could be true with a newer digital model, but that wasn't the point of my inquiry. I said, br>br>For example, what does grobal mean, and what are the brightness ranges (I changed it from 5 to 3 and nothing happened; if I kept lowering it, it wrapped around to 100). What is WDR, and how does it work? What happens when you switch between day and night mode? What is the definition of a clever IR? What is the purpose of the infrared on/off switch? What do the white balance settings do and how do I use them? What exactly is an auto-pilot system? tracing the white balance of a scene br>br>They simply stated, br>br>The DVR is in charge of these functions. br>Your night owl DVR may require an instruction manual. br>br>Well, I've had my dvr for a while now, and I've read the manual from cover to cover, and I've never seen anything about a camera with those kinds of features being able to send control information back to the dvr. br>br>If someone can prove me wrong, I'll change my mind and give it another star because the camera appears to be capable of excellent night vision. But I can't seem to keep it that way.
