This is fantastic! Using this camera, we were able to catch three thieves breaking into our car. The camera was connected to our computer, and the footage was saved on a USB drive; the thieves were charged and ordered to perform community service.

For years, I've had high-end security cameras, two of which finally gave up and drowned. Small cracks appeared in the camera case where it connected to the mounting base, allowing water to do the rest. br>I've only had this camera for a few days, but I'm impressed enough to write a review. Even during the day, the dramatically different amounts of sunlight at our waterfront home pose a challenge for security cameras. When the area they are covering is split between complete shade and bright sunlight, all six of my cameras on the water side of the property have trouble. My name brand cameras completely flare out the bright portion of the picture, so you wouldn't see an elephant walk by! Not this little guy, though, and the photo I included tells the story. Please note that this image was not altered in any way other than cropping to remove the manufacturer's name. The sunlit portion of this picture would have flared out so badly with my other cameras that you wouldn't have been able to see the windows, let alone the furniture. You can also see the motion-detecting LED flood lights in the corner next to the sliding glass door if you look closely. They're quite bright, and my old camera would struggle to cope with them. When those LEDs turned on at night, the camera's image flared out to the point where I couldn't tell if my Golden Retriever was at the sliding door. Last night, I put it to the test several times, and the Zosi camera performed admirably. When the LED floodlights were turned on, the Zosi produced a fantastic image with no flares. Forget about the dog; now I'll be able to listen to the recording and finally figure out which cat is leaving dead little gifts in front of that door for me. br>This camera is suspended from a deck railing, completely exposed to the elements. It shouldn't take long to determine how well it's put together. Would I tell a friend about this camera? Not yet; I'll give it a few months to see how the image quality holds up, but if it does, yes. But, in the meantime, I'm ordering two more of these to replace a couple of other name-brand cameras with which I'm no longer pleased. br>br>It's important to remember that the 3. Because the 66mm lens does not have a large field of view, it may not be the best camera for covering a large area with a single camera. Also, I can't give you an honest assessment of the infrared capabilities because the deck has accent lighting at night. I couldn't tell the difference between this camera and the one it replaced.
PS: If your camera's IR doesn't provide enough light in a particular area, you could simply add an Ir emitter. They're cheap and can provide a lot of light in places where you can't see at night now. "CCTV ir illuminator" is a search term on Amazon.

Installed it without issue, and the picture appeared to be good, but the camera's view began to yellow after a few hours, and it died after 36 hours. So all I got out of this camera was a waste of two hours of my time: driving to install it, then driving back to remove it and replace it with another.

I had to go out and buy it on my own. For entry-level systems, this is a fantastic camera. My only quibble is that I find it odd that you need a screwdriver to adjust the angle, but I suppose that's understandable given that you don't want people messing with it. When it becomes dark, the night vision auto-enables. I'm using it in an apartment to ensure that maintenance doesn't steal any more of my Jack Daniels and that the puppy is safe!.

After four months, mine stopped working. When I contacted ZOSI, they continued to send me emails about various ways to test the camera's operation. More questions were asked after each time I provided information. After asking me to give them a five-star review, they stopped responding after more than five emails.

For the price, it's a good buy. We were in the process of adding cameras to the shop where I work, and I came across these, so I decided to give them a shot. I'm not sure if it's because of the cable (150 feet) or the camera, but it's a little finicky, but it's not terrible, and it works well for the price. I'd buy these again, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to replace or add to their security system. br>br>Update 10 br>br> 16br>Even after all these years, it's still going strong.

In my house, I have a multi-channel DVR security camera system. It's been 9 months since I've used it, and it's still going strong. It's outside, on top of a fence, underneath a tree, facing the road and my mailbox, so I can see when the mail comes in and when kids come through and beat up my mailbox (as I witnessed on Halloween). With a narrow IR field but good range, the night vision works quite well. For my application, it works fine. The image quality is excellent, and the product's durability and dependability are outstanding. Overall, I found no major flaws with this Zosi camera, and I plan to order from them again in the future. 5/5 stars.
