It's still working! We bought it because we live in a rural area and needed security. This has its own wifi system for communicating with the cameras from the monitor. So even if you don't have access to the internet, it will still work. You'll need to connect the monitor to the router if you want to watch from your phone. Setting it up was a breeze. We only had to connect the cameras to power, and they were able to communicate with the monitor. The monitor displayed the cameras. We purchased a four-camera system and will most likely add four more. It turned out to be a fantastic decision!.

This is the first time I've had a video surveillance system installed in my house. Before buying it, I did a lot of research on different systems. Good video definition, night vision, a large storage capacity, and wireless connectivity between the cameras and the NVR (network video recorder) were all features that I insisted on. My friend demonstrated his wireless system, but the cameras were powered by batteries, which he had to replace on a regular basis. I was certain that I didn't want a battery-powered system. For power, you'll need to physically connect to the house wiring. It has a plug-in feature. Each camera, as well as the NVR, has its own transformer. If the camera is installed in a location where it cannot penetrate through many walls, there is also an antenna with a 10-foot cable. This antenna can be placed in a less obstructed area. I added a fifth camera to the system and was able to view it fine, but I couldn't figure out how to record it, so I contacted the company. They responded quickly and informed me that it only records four channels. You can select which four channels you want to record, but if you have more than four, they will not record; this is fine with me, but the system description is misleading. I apologize if my support for this system led to any other people being misled.

This security system is fantastic once you get past the learning curve. It has excellent picture quality and can record continuously for nearly 30 days thanks to the 3TB hard drive. We've only had it for about a month, but we've already seen one suspicious person walking around our house while we were at work. We also bought an audio camera to keep an eye on our pets while we were away from home. Depending on where you want the cameras to be placed in your home, some work may be required. I put one near the garage, drilled a hole through the exterior wall, and made sure there was an outlet nearby on the inside; the cameras have excellent picture quality and excellent night vision. I've also never had a problem with poor reception. All of our cameras are within a 30-minute radius of one another. The wifi base unit is 40 feet away from you.

I purchased an eight-channel system with four cameras and a three-terabyte monitor DVR about a month ago. I added two more Hiseeu cameras to the mix. Everything has been running smoothly so far. In daylight, the images are clear for a long distance, and even at night, the images are clear for a long distance. I even recorded an accident that occurred half a block away on a flash drive for one of the drivers.

These cameras were purchased to replace an older wired system that no longer connected to my smartphone. The old system had to be connected in my basement due to all the wires, so I liked this wireless system. It's a lot easier to locate a nearby plug-in. Rather than running long wires into the house for each camera (all cameras may be placed outside), each camera should have its own power supply. It's been about a month since I got it set up and working. Here are some of my thoughts: Advantages: br>br> Installing it was simple, and I was able to aim it exactly where I wanted it. br>br>To power each camera, I used both indoor and outdoor outlets. I bought extender cables to make power cables for two cameras that were too far away from the nearest outlet reachable. The extension connections were fine, but I wrapped them in electrical tape to keep them from coming apart too easily. The plugs appear to be better suited for indoor use, so I protected all outside plugs from the elements. br>br>The farthest cameras connected to the main unit wirelessly without the need for a boost, and I purchased two additional cameras not included in the original four-unit package. I used the included cords to connect both to the main unit for synchronization, and they worked flawlessly. In addition, the screen automatically reformatted to show all six camera views at the same time. The resolution is sharp and of excellent quality. br>br> The quality of the day and night vision is excellent. It's winter here, and they've performed admirably in the frigid temperatures. I was able to set up the viewing screen in my kitchen because it was a wireless unit. I can now see who is at my front door at any time, though I had to use a cable to connect the main unit to my internet router in order to use the app on my phone. I had to run an Ethernet cable from the main unit to the basement because my router was downstairs. br>br>Connecting to the phone app was simple and did not necessitate any technical assistance. Make certain you're looking in the App Store for the right app. There's one with a similar name, but it's not the one you're looking for. EseeCloud is an app that you can use. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. The noise from the main unit is the most serious problem I have. As it sits and writes to the hard drive, it makes a lot of noise. It's not unbearably loud, but it's always there, and it's very noticeable. It's not bad enough to warrant a negative review, but it is inconvenient. The motion detection works well. br>br> I've tweaked the sensitivity, but the results are still mixed. When I'm not sure if there was any motion, I have motion detection recordings. And, on occasion, large objects with the same sensitivity - as if someone were about to walk out the front door Motion recording will not be triggered. However, it appears to be overly sensitive in most cases, and I do not recommend receiving an email when motion is detected. As needed, check the app for motion detection alerts. br>br>While the app is usable, I am looking forward to future updates. For example, you can rewind and pause the 30-second motion alert recordings.
