No problems; I read the positive and negative reviews on this system and decided to take a chance on it because of the advertised features and the low price; I am pleased with my purchase thus far. The first thing I did was test it out by connecting a camera to the DVR and turning it on. All good. Then I plotted out the DVR's location and ran all of the camera wires up through the wall and into the attic. To reach the farthest two cam locations, I had to buy a set of two 25-foot extension wires, but that was a minor inconvenience. All 60-foot cam wires are included in the package. Everything was connected to the DVR, and then it was done! , there are 8 different camera views, all of which are operational and very clear. There are numerous settings and adjustments that can be made, which are only briefly discussed in the instruction book. But after a few clicks, I had a good idea of what the DVR and cameras were capable of. I figured out how the system worked and how to navigate the menus after a little while. The camera adjustment instructions are included with each camera, so there are two sets to refer to. Setting up passwords and registering for the first time was a breeze. By the way, in addition to night vision, the cameras in this set have a single bright LED security light (white light alarm) that illuminates when the camera detects motion, which I really like (you have to set the light to come on for each cam in the DVR settings). The camera on my front porch is set to use the security light as well as sound an alert beep on the DVR, which can be customized for each cam. This is distinct from the mobile app's alerts. br> The mobile app installed without a hitch and functions admirably. I went on a trip right after installing the system. I was able to view all 8 cameras from over 500 miles away with no problems, and I don't even have high-speed internet. When I turned on the alerts, I was able to review all of the recorded footage. Everything went off without a hitch. br> You can also add up to two IP cameras to this system by connecting them directly to the wireless router that the DVR is connected to via a cat5 cable. I might get one of those in the future to add a ninth camera.

The image and video quality are both excellent! If you're looking for a multi-purpose tool, this is the one to go with. I'd have a lot of respect for a camera system like that. The only issue I've had was that retrieving playback mode was sometimes difficult, but after speaking with customer service and adjusting my playback parameters, I was able to get playback with far fewer issues.

I'll save the best for last in this review. It is unquestionably a five-star product. br>At first, we only used the system's live view to keep an eye on what was going on outside. This was primarily due to our inability to find the time necessary to fully commission the system. For example, we were unable to download the mobile app. I needed to get to work and couldn't do so without installing one of those gaming apps on my computer. br>It's a complicated system. This is a positive development. There are numerous useful features, such as line crossing and intrusion detection, as well as the ability to create areas to monitor, schedules to record, and customizable notifications or actions, such as LED security light activation, alarms, and so on, using an interactive grid. br>Having said that, Annke's live chat tech was the answer to all of our problems, as much as we struggled with the setup. Demi, a real person, put in a lot of effort and patience to help us get everything up and running after our frustrating experience. That alone is worth five stars in today's world. Annke receives a perfect score of ten!.

I had a Samsung CCTV 4 channel camera before using these units, and I was looking to add four more. Because I'd never used or heard of Annke before, I was a little concerned about this set. br>br>When I received the unit, I noticed that it was well-packaged and contained everything I needed. br>br>The cameras were easy to install, just like my previous set, so I had no problems. br>br>After connecting all of the cameras, setting up the unit was simple, with clear on-screen instructions. There was no need for me to consult any manuals. br>br>When using Annke's software on the CCTV, the first thing I noticed was that it was VERY quick in comparison to my Samsung CCTV. Everything was lightning fast, and moving around the menu was a breeze. It does not come with a remote, unlike my Samsung CCTV, but that was not a problem for me because the Annke system was very convenient and quick. br>br>The initial setup of all the cameras was incredibly simple; all you need is a little patience to learn the menu and you'll be fine. br>br>I haven't tried the mobile app because I already have other cameras with that capability.

As a result, the system allowed access to the cameras through a back door program, making it insecure. Help was unable to provide a solution to the back door access to the system being locked out via a secure password, so the system was returned as a security design flaw.

The time has come. The photos taken at night are stunning! We've had the cameras connected and in use for about three weeks now, and we've received no complaints. We use the app and enjoy being able to see the inside of the house. - from top to bottom - occupy your time We received new modems, and switching the system from the old to the new was a breeze. We had some issues with user error and contacted customer service, who were extremely helpful in educating us and getting us back on track. This camera system comes highly recommended!.

The email notification is never received, and the spotlight is never turned on. Night vision is so dim that you can't see much. They sent me a camera to use at night, but I don't have a port to plug it into because I only have an 8-port DVR and all of the ports are taken. So they keep asking how the camera works, and they want me to plug it in on the back of my DVR and unplug a camera that is already in use. So, what good does it do me to be able to see what's going on on the wall of my office? They want me to accept a $20 offer because I need it outside. 00 off my next purchase in exchange for a positive review. DON'T BUY THIS SYSTEMTM!! The cameras appear to be among their cheapest!!.
