It was fairly simple to set up. The small screw nut that you loosen to adjust the camera, on the other hand, comes off very easily. While you're on a ladder, you get lost in the grass for the rest of your life. If you're not careful, you might find yourself in trouble. It's also impossible to find a replacement for those nuts because they're so small. So one of your cameras is held together with duct tape. That is not the case with me. But, aside from misplacing the nut on the small screw used to adjust the camera, everything went up in under an hour. I also downloaded the app and can now watch footage from anywhere, but I'm still stumped as to how to get it to send motion detection notifications. If it works, I haven't yet figured it out. Night vision, in my opinion, works extremely well; if something is out there in the dead of night, you will definitely notice it. I planned to hide the DVR and all of the wires so that the evidence would not be stolen. However, because the DVR gets quite hot, I didn't think covering it was a good idea. Apart from a few minor flaws, I really enjoy it. For the price, it's impossible to beat.

I set it up myself, and it's still going strong. br>The following are the only two issues I've had:
1. These wires will get snagged if you pull them through jagged holes. I'm guessing it's more a case of user error than a flaw in the product. br>br>2. My DVR has been rebooting on its own for the past three months. I record 24 hours a day, seven days a week with motion activation turned on, so I use a lot of hard drive space, which may not help the system last longer. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The app for viewing your phone's cameras could be a little more user-friendly. It took me several attempts to get the program to work. Although it isn't bad, it could be better. 4. br>br> It can be difficult to move the screws and threaded ring that allow the camera to pivot and turn. I had a gall bladder attack. Apply a small amount of oil and proceed with caution. br>br>To be honest, for a third of the price of a similar system from Wal-Mart, I'd recommend it. Mart, Costco, and Sam's Club are three of the most popular shopping destinations in the United States. etc. , you've got yourself a pretty good all-in-one solution!.

So far, I'm really impressed with this camera. We installed it, which was difficult due to the fact that we live in a two-story house and had to run the wires. It wasn't the company's fault, but installation was difficult. We've set up the motion detection, and it's recording throughout the day. This camera provides me with peace of mind and is less expensive than other security camera systems. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The image is also crystal clear!.

Despite the fact that it is plug and play, we bought it a year ago and had it installed by a technician. The first year was fine, but then everything went dark two weeks ago, and this is when everything went completely south in terms of customer service and equipment quality. I was able to get all four cameras working again after they went dark for several hours the first time – but I'm not sure what I did to make that happen. br>br>The next day, everything went dark again, and I couldn't get it back up and running; I contacted their customer support, which is nearly impossible to reach because they don't have a phone number that is readily available. After two weeks of back-and-forth emails, they finally sent me a phone number to call, but I was only allowed to call between the hours of 8 p. m. and 12 a. m. in the United States. br>br>Each day, I'd get an email from their customer service telling me something to try, almost as if it was a tease that it might work if I tried it for a minute. When I emailed them back and it didn't work, I'd have to wait another 24 hours for another piece of useless information. After two weeks of this, I demanded a phone number, and only then did they provide one. The representative I spoke with barely spoke English, and insisted on having me do everything I had done in the previous two weeks via one email per day. After that, they said they'd send me an email from an engineer. br>br>I received an email from an engineer stating that my house's electrical system may be malfunctioning and that I should change it. . . . . . Yes, I'm going to replace my entire electrical panel – but why should I wait another 24 hours for more useless information? I'm disappointed in the lack of customer service after purchasing this system and paying for it to be installed only for it to fail completely after less than a year of use. br>br>I wish I had spent more money up front on a more reputable, warranty-backed system; For the time being, I intend to remove this one and replace it with one of those systems. br>br>DO NOT PURCHASE THIS, YOU WILL NOT ENJOY IT OR WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE WHEN IT EXPIRES IN A YEAR. , and their customer support service (if you can figure out how to contact them) isn't worth the money or the heartache. See the attached image to see how only the cameras were affected, but the DVR continued to function but recorded a blank screen for four of the cameras.

I recently installed a SharkTap to address another security issue and discovered that the Annke DVR not only forcibly creates ports in my firewall to enable you to watch cameras and manage the system remotely - but it also forcibly creates ports in my firewall to enable you to watch cameras and manage the system remotely. even if those features are turned OFF in the DVR's UI - However, it also establishes and maintains external connections with at least two Chinese hosts (for updates?). , for. I have not authorized the connections to China, and there are no settings in the DVR that I can find to disable them. Despite disconnecting the DVR from my network, I continue to receive request packets from Chinese servers looking for the IP address where it was previously installed. If you purchase this product, DO NOT connect it to your network and DO NOT install Annke's mobile device apps ("Annke Vision"). Perhaps I'm being overly cautious, but I'd rather put my safety and security first. They do the same, according to Annke - It's impossible for me to believe.

I recently completed the installation of the system. The resolution appears to be good, and the component quality appears to be satisfactory. I connected it to the internet and now have access to all of the cameras from my desktop and smartphone. So far, the quality appears to be good, and it's great that each camera's motion range and sensitivity can be adjusted. It has excellent night vision. If you're on a budget and don't want to spend $500-$1000, I'd suggest this system. $1000. For me, this is a good deal.

Love this thing, remote viewing works great even if you're 280 miles away, but you have to scan codes from the screen when setting it up to get it to work. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and will be purchasing more cameras.
