Yes, that is correct. It is very simple to set up. Make your own cables by purchasing bulk cable and connectors. You'll be able to save a significant amount of money. Unless you connect them to a DVR, SD cards must be used. My system is networked, and I only use SD cards for recording. One week off is possible. The video is of excellent quality.
Yes, but unlike bullet cameras, it is not highly adjustable. However, if you don't want anyone to be able to easily move them after you install, adjust, and tighten the adjustment screw, these are better.
Hello, if you are referring to the wide dynamic range, we regret to inform you that it is set and cannot be adjusted; however, we will pass on your valuable suggestion to our R&D department. Thank you for contacting the D department to see if there are any ways we can improve this section.
Hello, onvif 2 is supported by this camera. When Reolink cameras are used with third-party NVRs, compatibility issues may arise. Because different manufacturers may use different protocols, we were unable to test and guarantee the compatibility of all NVR models from other brands. br>When using Reolink IP cameras, we recommend that you use Reolink NVRs.
Selected User Reviews For REOLINK IP Security Cameras Outdoor for Home Surveillance, 5MP PoE Dome Cameras, 100ft IR Night Vision, Motion Detection, Work with Smart Home, Up to 128GB SD Card Supported, RLC-520 (Pack of 2)
These are fantastic; outdoor IP cameras cost $700 ten years ago. These are good cameras; I have them recorded on a Synology and they work great; they're a lot less expensive than my first security camera system, which I purchased a decade ago! br>WARNING: Because the IR LEDs aren't as wide as the camera, you'll get a bright, well-lit area in the center of the footage, but the outside peripheral view will be dark. If you place these outside in the rain, all you'll see are StarWars flashes from the IR LEDs reflecting off the rain. Better footage can be obtained by mounting the camera under the eaves on the soffit. br>NOTE: This model is designated by the letters RLC. The RLC-420 does not have the same wide-angle camera view as the RLC-420. 410, I prefer the 410 footage to the 420 footage; both are advertised as having an 80° viewing angle, but the RLC-410 has a wider viewing angle. Without the fisheye distortion, 410 appears to be wider. Unfortunately, because the 410 is a bullet style camera (rather than a dome camera like the 420), any baseball would knock the 410 bullwt style out of frame from the security footage you want. While some styles of 420's are more tamper proof, the adjustment lock screw is not stainless steel, but rather painted black. br>QUALITY WARNING: The adjustment lock screw is not stainless steel, but rather painted black. After two weeks, the screw on one of my cameras that is exposed to the elements has rusted. I'll probably take one out and go to the hardware store to get a stainless replacement; in a year, this screw will be too rusted to adjust or service the camera. All of my other cameras are protected by being mounted under the eaves on the soffit, where they will likely last longer because they are not exposed to the elements.
Yep- He arrived, attempted to assassinate it, and then bolted. br>This dome POE camera was mounted in the ceiling, and he didn't notice it at first, so when he realized it was watching him, he attempted to turn off the power. He tried everything he could think of to unplug it, but it continued to work. I'm sure he had no idea it was powered by an ethernet cable from another building that ran through the ceiling to the camera. So he smashed the cover glass with his trusty crow bar, but it continued to work. As a result, he made a U-turn and bolted. br>These cameras are housed in buildings on 200-mile-long wilderness property that I own. It's so reassuring to be able to check in on what's going on there whenever I want. in' to receive notifications 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I installed everything myself, despite the fact that I am 70 years old. br>I'll have to replace the camera now, but it did the job I paid for it to do. It would have been demolished if it had been made of plastic, as most dome cameras are. This one, on the other hand, continues to work. Only slightly hazy around the edges where broken glass fragments remain. br>Now I understand why these cameras have such high ratings. I'm so glad I got Reolink!.
This item (Model RLC-1) is a great way to save money on your next purchase. 520) uses Adobe Flash Player, which is no longer supported and is blocked by some browsers, such as Chrome. As a result, the higher resolution option is no longer available, so it's mostly a waste of time. Updated Flash-based content was promised on the Reolink website. By the end of 2020, all firmware will be free, but the most recent firmware (Dec 11, 2020) will still require Adobe Flash Player (hardware: firmware: IPC_515B16M5M, IPC_515B16M5M, IPC_515B16M5 v3. 136_20121112) is a number that can be used to identify a specific.
I've been in the Commercial/Industrial specialty systems field for two weeks short of 27 years. br>These are the best, most reliable plug-and-play cameras I've ever purchased. br>After three months on the IR with an undisclosed upper body injury, I decided to put what I'd learned into practice in a "normal" setting. br>Research took two days. I built a full-featured under-the-radar home property "distant early warning system" for under $200. "br>That is, I installed twice as much equipment for half the price and there were no monthly fees. br>I would recommend this and self-installation over the "pros" if you have the initiative and some knowledge.
I've been using some cheap Chinese cameras like Vimtag and Amcrest, and I'm very impressed with the Reolink's quality and image when compared to them. The quality of the night vision is outstanding. I've now removed all other cameras and replaced them with Reolinks due to the stark contrast between the two products. The final straw for me was discovering that the Chinese cameras were bombarding my router with attempts to communicate with unknown IP addresses outside of my network, and there appears to be no setting that allows or disables this. I'm not sure what kind of information they're trying to send or where they're trying to send it. br>I like the mechanical design with the ball in socket because it allows for easy mounting and flexible adjustment. br>It comes highly recommended.
Fully compatible with the Reolink NVR, at a very reasonable price and with excellent resolution. I like how the ir night vision is illuminated. Simply connect your ethernet cable to the camera, POE switch, or NVR, and you're done. Setting up the app is a breeze. If you don't have access to a NVR, the SD card option is a great alternative. br>The box is a favorite of my cat.
The 2- For a pair of incredible cameras, this pack is a great deal. The only drawback is the long connection tail, which makes it difficult to store when flush mounted to a flat surface.
It's perfect for the Synology Diskstation 718. There are a lot of options and a clear picture. I wish it came with a power supply or a Poe injector, but other than that, it's a fantastic camera.
