Please keep in mind that only one camera can steam at any given time.
The eufycam system's Homebase is the system's main hub.
Yes, it is possible.
It can be unplugged and moved around the house. It will connect as long as the WIFI connection is the same, and it can also be moved to a different site with a different WIFI. You simply go into the camera's settings and reconnect as if it were the first time you set it up; I have some at home and some at work on the same account.

The image quality is excellent, the night vision is acceptable, and the overall functionality is satisfactory. I didn't have to fiddle with my router during setup, so it was a breeze. They make all these claims about respecting your privacy, but if you read their privacy policy, it's no different than any other app. The cord to plug it in is very short; if you want to hang it, you'll need an extension cord. They make all these claims about respecting your privacy, but if you read their privacy policy, it's no different than any other app. They gather information about you, sell it, track you, and sell that information. They acknowledge that they do not respect your phone's do not track setting.
This product received a 3 out of 5 star rating from me. star rating, but with one minor change, it could be a 5 star rating. It's a great product at a great price, but there's one major flaw that I, and I believe most users, will notice. I use it for security, and I get security alerts whenever any motion is detected that I requested (pet, person, etc. ). The problem is that on an iPhone, you can't customize the sound of Eufy alerts. Eufy simply uses the notification tone that is set by default. br>br>I'd like to be notified as soon as any motion detection alert is received. The issue is that I get a lot of notifications on my phone that I don't want to look at right away - Maybe I'm in a meeting, but if you want to keep track of your Eufy alerts in real time, it's an all-or-nothing proposition. If you hear the "default" alert, you must check your phone immediately. br>br>Eufy, please change this. Isn't difficult at all. Call your developers to schedule a meeting.
The only storage option is a local SD card on the camera, unless you want to pay a monthly fee for cloud storage. So, if you have a thief, they simply take/break your camera, and the problem is solved. The Eufy team made a baffling error.
The picture quality (day and night) was excellent, and the app was simple to operate. The 14-day trial is appealing to me. In addition to the local SD storage, there is a day's worth of online storage available. The annoying notifications, on the other hand, are a deal breaker for me, and I'm afraid I'll miss an IMPORTANT notification because my system is crying wolf once more. 1. br>br> You get notifications (from each camera) EVERY TIME you enter or exit the zone when you use the "geofencing" mode. I confirmed with customer service that this notification cannot be turned off. To be honest, I'm not sure why this option exists at all: I'm aware of whether or not I'm at home. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The motion-picture Notifications from sensors are far too trigger-heavy. happy. Two separate notifications are sent if two people walk into the camera's view at the same time. You should be able to set a minimum "interval" for motion triggers, but I've found that it doesn't work in practice, and I keep getting pinged. Aside from that, the longest interval you can set is 5 minutes. So, if I have a repairman or cleaning service in my house for an hour while I'm gone, I'll be notified every five minutes until they leave. br>br>3. In terms of recording or notifications, it appears that there is no way to "pair" the cameras so that they can act as a single device. As a result, the number of cameras you have installed multiplies each notification. 4. br>br> The in- Upsell messages (new equipment and referral bonuses) are strewn throughout the app.
What I was looking for. I didn't need this for security; instead, I needed it to keep an eye on my elderly mother, who is alone at home while we all work. I have one camera in the living room that rotates and allows me to see the kitchen and the bottom of my stairs. Another camera has been installed at the top of my stairwell, which leads to my bedrooms. br>WiFi setup is a breeze, and the app is easy to navigate. I can quickly log in and see what's up with my account. mom. I can even speak to her through the camera speaker when I'm at home. The cameras are fantastic, and the resolution is excellent. br>There are no recurring charges. You can set it up to record and activate when motion is detected, but I disabled it because my mother is always walking around the house. br>Perfect for my needs; I can't say enough good things about it.
These are excellent cameras in general. Although the picture quality is acceptable, I would prefer to see Eufy implement full, uncompressed video with up to 128GB of removable storage. There is enough storage to handle video with a high bitrate. As a result of the low bitrate, video may contain artifacts, blotchyness, and distortion in some cases. The ability to see at night is incredible! It has 8 infrared LEDs that illuminate well and automatically adjust brightness based on the distance between the subject and the camera; the video quality in infrared is superb, with incredible detail, as described. The pan and tilt feature is nice, and the rotation pan speed can be adjusted from slow to fast; I've found that setting the speed to 2 out of 5 speeds works well for tracking objects without sacrificing video quality. The video picks up a strange noise from Tilt. In comparison to the pan motor, which is silent, the motor is noisy. That's something I'd like to see updated in a newer model. Pan while tracking a moving subject is jerky, not smooth, and it struggles to stay focused on the subject at night. AI for filtering out people or pets is incredible. In my opinion, it is flawless. Because video, not motion sensors, is used to track and detect motion, the camera must be turned on all the time to capture it. My only concern is how long the sensors and camera will last; however, there is one major point to consider: Because it doesn't know where the sound source is coming from with motion tracking and sound detection turned on, it doesn't look for movement. If at all possible, this should be part of a firmware update. In my setup, I have a 270-degree field of view that I monitor. The camera will not pan or tilt to look for corresponding motion if it is facing the opposite direction as the sound source. When sound is detected, the device should pan 360 degrees to look for motion, then stop panning and focus in on the subject. Eufy, please include this in a firmware update. The support provided by Eufy is fantastic. I emailed customer service and received a prompt response, as well as the pleasure of working with knowledgeable people to resolve my issues or answer my questions. Overall, this is a full-featured camera for a low price, and the value for money is unbeatable!.
I saw a review where someone said the SD card didn't go all the way in, but I noticed they put it in backwards, so it DOES go all the way in when inserted correctly! In addition, the picture and sound quality are excellent.
