This unit comes with a NIST calibration certificate that specifies a 12-month (1 calendar year) calibration interval from the date of calibration. A new unit is usually delivered with a calibration date that is as close to 12 months as possible from the time of purchase.
Included is an eternal battery pack, as well as a cap hose and a charging cable. DVD and instructions are included.
I had to return it because it did not come with a charger.
Hello! Re-encoding does not necessitate the use of any software. calibrate your system The instructions for doing so are included with the monitor (due to the fact that the monitor has the re-set button). The belt clip on this unit is not as secure as it is on BW CO monitors; if the belt clip comes loose, good luck getting it back on. The design is abominable. Otherwise, I carry this with me on every audit as a weatherization auditor. Exceptionally dependable and precise. br>br>You must calibrate this device once a year.
It arrived in March 2021, accompanied by a December 2019 calibration certificate. When I turned on the unit, it immediately went into "uncalibrated" alarm mode. It will not turn on until it has been calibrated. What are you talking about?.
The calibration has already been lost. I tried bumping the check and recalibrating it. Every time, it fails; it was estimated that the calibration would take about a year. Clearly, this is not the case. br>br> I've been in two places where H2S is present. The meter did not detect H2S, but the other company meters did. br>br> Amazon is notorious for not honoring warranties. If you're looking for a gas meter, don't buy it from this place.
We've been using BW Technologies gas testing equipment for over eight(8) years and have found it to be accurate, simple to use, portable, and cost-effective.
These were a better deal than our previous supplier, so I bought them for our new guys. The second of two orders did not work. I returned them and was given new ones. Only one of the two charging cables worked, and neither of them was the correct one. I returned them both and placed an order with our original vendor. What a waste of time this has been for me.
The product worked well, was easy to use, and the user instructions were well written. On a pipeline construction job, it was used to detect hydrogen sulfide.
This was required for my job. After calibration, the device performed admirably.
Calibration is out of date, but after spending a hundred dollars on it, it's still worth it. We got it back for an extra 00 dollars and were on our way.
